I've never fully watched Brave Heart and I have Gladiator as Ridley Scott's 2nd best film.

I voted Braveheart because William Wallace was historically a real person and Gladiator guy was a mashup of many ancient heros. Although it is funny at the end of Braveheart when Bruce says the scottish fought for their freedom and won because

I think it's pretty well acknowledged that both films are in barely any way historically accurate.

Also, Gladiator is the better movie. Braveheart tips into the melodramatic at times and has a few corny moments. I like both a lot though
