Gilbert is the single most dangerous WW for Khamzat

Lots of disrespect towards Burns in this thread. His only loss in his 8 last fights was to a dominant champion. Khamzat has yet to fight the quality of opponents Burns has fought.
 
Where is this Gilbert Burns is tiny narrative coming from? He is a thicker guy than Lawler

It only does not because the UFC is a greedy bunch, and fans like you, that allows them to disregard rankings just because you are a hypocrite and have a vested interest in Getting Khamzat a title shot.

If you had a brain, you'd see that I am right. And this is not just about Khamzat, but Islam, Conor or anyone else that is jumping the line because their fans like him/her.
This does NOT benefit the sport, and every time it happens, it just reinforce this narrative that rankings doesn't matter.

You DO dictate what Dana does BECAUSE he does whatever makes him most money.
Not paying for those fights hurts him in his pocket..

Anyway, my point is Khamzat is accepting the single most dangerous fight (by far IMO) for his style in all of WW. Gilbert is the only fighter in the entire division who can take away his greatest strength (his top game) and is one of the few fighters that has the power to end it at any given moment standing.

If Khamzat wins this, I don't see any potential roadblocks at WW. Crazy cajones to chase the most dangerous fight as well... I said the same when Khamzat was chasing a Maia fight when he first joined the UFC.

Gilbert was a lightweight, Khamzat could really be a middleweight. Khamzat KO's him no problem imo.

Burns was KO'ed by Hooker. The size difference would be drastic.

True, but he still made lightweight at one time. Then you have Khamzat that can't even make WW. It would still be a huge size difference in there.

Depending on who you ask Usman is probably in most people's Top 5 WW ever and he's still in his prime. Khamzat is legit but the hype is too unreal. Khamzat might even win but he's not a superhero.

No one knows if Khamzat is the truth or not, all we have to go on is what he's done to this point. Personally, I believe he's the next champ, my only question is his cardio and if he has lasting Covid effects.
