One of the best memories I have about George Foreman is not of him as a boxer, but what he did during the riot between Golota crew and Bowe crew. You can hear Foreman trying to make peace and stop the madness that was going on in the ring and into the stands. He even protected Lampley and Merchant. Tells a lot about the man imo. What a great caring heart he had.

Frazier was only 67 when he died of liver cancer.

When We Were Kings is my favorite documentary. While it was mostly kinda about Ali's greatness, it definitely paints the picture that Foreman was the final boss of the time. The man was a legend, seriously bummed out.

How bout two championships 20 years apart.
He lost to Ali on 10-30-1974.
He beat Moore on 11-05-1994

oh man, didnt know that....RIP, his winning back the heavyweight title after 20 years (my avatar) is one of the greatest athletic accomplishments ever. There will never be another GF - had 2 careers, the angry scary young man, and then the older fat funny guy, both complete bad asses who won the HW ttiles
