Didn't Garry take the fight on bout 3 weeks notice? A 5 round fight at that, he'd have been justified stipulating it being a 3 rounder. Also if he was winning every round by the time the bell sounded and the reset allowed the momentum to halt, why do you think on the streets Prates would have won because of the 5th round, why would the complexion of the fight have looked anything like that if there were no breaks? That's always a point people conveniently forget. If someone is really going to use the ludicrous logic of "street fights" (which is still stupid to do) then we're not looking at round 6, we're looking at the end of round 1.
