But Man, Jon winning the HW title is a Huge slap to the face to the LHW Division, cause does that mean any LHW could've moved up and won the title there? I mean not now cause right now the HW division is upgrading themselves but had any LHW moved up a division and worked themselves for 3 years to build a body figure of themselves of be in shape for HW, would've any LHW won the belt too? also this loss that Gane suffered will make him feel damned for a long time cause with the HW Division upgrading themselves, if Jon fights any of them Right Now, they would perform better than Gane did, but everyone should that Jon would've done that to any HW in his debut except maybe Ngannou, Stipe, Blaydes, Aspinall or Spivak, Also it's a slap to the face to the rest of LHWs especially Reyes and Santos whom Jon had lackluster performances against Both, but also another reason for Gane losing like that cause he was nervous to death like Sylvia/Randy, Justin/Khabib, Rose/Carla & Gillian, Megan/Nunes Jan/Glover, Khamzat/Gerald or Lewis/Spivak, But I think Gane would smoke Jon in a rematch if he got the chance but that's after he upgrades himself because it was an embarrassing performance from him yeah but it happens, similar to GSP in his first fight with Serra, but when GSP rebuilt himself, he became so good, I still have faith in Gane that he will be the HW/MMA GOAT.

It’s never going to happen, he’ll never develop the wrestling he lacks so badly. Guys like Jones and Stipe will always beat him. If he had more power he’d have a better chance but he can’t stop the takedown for five rounds and he isn’t knocking guys out

Why not? why he wouldn't upgrade himself to be a better fighter with great wrestling? (Khabib invited him to train in Dagestan and learn wrestling) after that fight, he must have definitely knew his weaknesses now so he will work to fix his holes, no way he's gonna go out like that, unlike Conor and Jorge who don't wanna learn Wrestling and Grappling, Gane of course should do that, also you said "he isn't KO'ing guys out"? WDYM by it? Gane is known for his KO Power, he cracked the chins of Tuivasa and Lewis (Lewis will win if he steps down in competition, so as Tuivasa fighting a lower ranked HW to have a winnable fight, I see him fighting Aspinall be good for him, Idk), like Volkov and Rozenstruik did, and for Gane, I think Blaydes/Pavlovich loser fights Gane but the winner definitely fights for the title no question.
 
Because there are people like Jones who have been wrestling their whole life.
 
Imagine losing to Gane and later realizing you could've grappled him for an easy win.
 
After that fight and how it played out, Right Now, MMA Fans are gonna forget everything they said and the built in excuses due to them being fickle Bandwagoners and having short memory and d ride whoevers got the most clout atm, but Remember the built-in excuses? here are the built-in excuses for why most thought Jon wouldn't do well at HW:
1-"Oh Jon is never gonna comeback, he won't move up to HW, He's been Cockteasing HW move for 10 years"
2-"Jon's era will be over with the newer guys at LHW catching up with him, he won't be the same after the lackluster performances in his last 2 fights against Santos and Reyes, especially with the new guys at HW"
3-"He has skinny legs and a belly and looks not in shape and not shredded"
4-"It's his first test at HW, he won't move well"
5-"Jon is one of the fighters of the old generation, he will be fighting the new generation"
Now what with all of that after he just won his last fight and made it look easy? what does everyone has to say now?
 
If people notice: the HW Division has 2 patterns, because coincidentally we can see the following:
UFC HW Trilogies happen every 7 years, like 2006's Sylvia/Arlovski, 2013's Cain/JDS and 2020's Stipe/DC
Unexperienced Vs Experienced revenge, like 2014-2017 Stipe/JDS, 2018-2021 Francis/Stipe and almost the same Pattern happened with Gane/Francis but Francis left this year and Jon came into the scene and won the HW title against Gane easily, probably I think that's why Gane was still unexperienced vs Jon, ppl crap on him like if he's in his prime when he isn't even close to hitting his prime, like, give him 2 more years you know? that's why.
