Face it folks, Tom was getting out struck by Gane, but not by much, and that’s not what I’m talking about.

If he couldn’t deal with a Gane eye-poke, Jones would have used his eye-sockets to pull off the top of his skull like a zombie at a brain buffet.

Would have been nice if they fought so we could see for ourselves. That used to be how the better fighter was determined.

I can see Jones beating Tom after what I saw. But not the current version of Jones.

I was gonna pick Jones had he taken the Tom fight, but for some reason he just ducked Big Tom. It’s very obvious. Jonny fans can cope with Tom “quiting” and Gane looking good early on, but it does not change the fact that Jon straight up refused to fight Tom.

Yep. Its not even primarily about who would have actually won, its that it tells you something about Jons personality. He is obviously an amazing fighter but he is also calculated and opportunistic and will do things to stack the deck even further in his favour in order to build up/protect his legacy. Poking eyes, stomping knees, taking PEDs, spending most of his career in a weight class where hes pretty much always the biggest strongest guy there, waiting for a guy he doesnt want to fight to leave before moving up to the weight class where that guy had the belt, stalling then fake retiring so he didnt have to fight the no1 contender who he didnt like the look of, then almost immediately coming out of retirement to fight a bigger star who he thinks will be an easier fight, etc etc.

The Tom who showed up against Gane would have been fraud checked by Jones easily

He looked terrible out there, was too tense and winging shots while Gane was relaxed and was starting to get into a flowy state, could have been a UD loss for Tom

Tom has been wasting his time with too much social media & Eddie Hall

Not enough training, this NC should be a wake up call to take his training more seriously

Tom stated himself that he wanted to jab and hold Gane against the cage for a controversial split decision

Shoulda never said that cause he got the controversial part right and then made the split decision to quit
