War Wagon Gane is going to shock the world.

Slow fat fuck Tui dropped Gane and was a punch away from getting finished. Tom sparks him out or subs him in 2 minutes.
Coulda, woulda, shoulda. Gane won that fight by KO. So, he ALMOST lost, but won by blasting out the other guy, instead? He landed at twice the accuracy rate as Tui, and landed nearly four times as many strikes. But, sure, he "almost" lost while crusing to a KO win.

When he got dropped, he bounced right back up, on steady legs and after catching another shot or two, he immediately hurt Tuivasa. He was so close to getting taken out that he won that round on all the judges' scorecards.

It's the HW division. Everyone is a punch away from getting finished, at any time. The greatest champion in UFC history, in terms of title defenses, lost by KO to Stefan Struve, for f--k's sake. This is such a stupid argument.

LHW Stuart Austin manhandled and broke Tom, despite a THIRTY POUND size disadvantage. Imagine getting bitched around by a guy 30 lbs lighter in what is Tom's base, grappling, what he had already been training since childhood, and where size is such a huge asset. So don't bother with the excuse that it was a long time ago.

Sometimes shit happens in fights, Serra knocked out GSP. But like you already proved, Gane showed the heart and grit to deal with that adversity when Tai landed the fluke bomb (with Tai being one of the hardest hitters, power and chin are the only reason he's even UFC level) to come back and stop Tai in his tracks.

Gane actually BRAWLED after Tai landed that, just to prove a point, and finished his ass. He wanted to completely beta Tai and show him that he could outdo him in the only thing Tai is good at.

Tom on the other hand broke the one time he faced adversity in a fight. That's the difference.
If you want to have a relevant opinion try not to refer to things that happened a decade ago. But if you want to continue to be a can poster, no one can stop you

You arent "cruising to a win" when you were almost stopped, stop being a douche

I think the Tom nuthuggers in this forum are forgetting that there is more footage on him now and is being studied hard, there’s no question gane’s coaches are preparing for his style.

I think the Jones nuthuggers in this forum are forgetting it doesn't matter how much footage you watch if one fighter is a 1 dimensional point fighter with shit grappling and the other is a well rounded wrecking machine with KO power. ;)

All those 3,5 minutes from his last 4 fights?
He probably improved leaps and bounds since then, because he is also 3 years younger.

Gane on the other side added hours with all those long fights.

Not sure why we are discussing 12 pages?
Aspinall is -345 and about 80% on here agree that he will win.

Gane has as much or more cage time in any two consecutive fights in the UFC (excluding his loss to Jones, naturally) than Aspinall has in his entire UFC career, including three fights with more cage time all on their own.

Aspinall at -345 would be a steal; he's running -400 to -480 at www.bestfightodds.com, and that's pretty much still a steal. The odds probably won't move much until close to fight week because smart big money doesn't give lots of free float, but I'd be surprised if we don't see something in the neighborhood of Aspinall -600 / Gane +450 by fight night. Aspinall is a terrible matchup for Gane and as long as he has the patience not to gas out should easily win barring freak injury or DQ.

Gane absolutely fucking sucks, and he's going to lose badly.

Hmm..Gane did not lose badly or get KTFO by Francis(who would have literally destroyed Tommy) so….

Styles make fights and all those old-geezers Tom has beaten don’t match Gane. So take Tommy’s eggs out your mouth and relax. 😂

I don’t really like Gane too much but I can’t lie I would find it humorous if he managed to spoil Tom’s party.

And whats your excuse for the awful decision that he managed to get over Volkov?

I think people keep propping up Gane as a way to legitimise Jon's HW "run", he'd already been badly exposed as a one dimensional kickboxer by a 1 legged, 1 kneed Francis yaddi yadda yadda
Nah, it’s the opposite. Everyone is underrating him now so they don’t have to give any credit to Jon. Before the fight he was bigger, stronger, faster, more advanced striker than Dom Reyes. After Jon big brothered him with raw power, the narrative changed.

Jon opened as like +110, and the odds settled witj Gane being like +150 or something.

I didn't even mention Tom in my post, I don't know if I ever have.

Gane supporters are just retarded. Your argument that Gane doesn't suck is he didn't lose a fight that badly?
