I agreei think the show is gonna age better once the shippers/fanfic writers get a hold of themselves
with that said i think the right things happened for the most part even if some of the execution was pretty mediocre
still with how these last few seasons have been GOT isnt anywhere near a GOAT level show and thats okay. Still a fun ride.
Hopefully Euron does some crazy shit in the books to lead up to the ending with all of whats been built up for him
That's why my beef here is with the writers not following their own logic. The logic they set up, the logic they expect you to follow. The characters behavior they created and set up. That's why i think this entire season was a waste of time and money. D&D just kinda ended it because they said they would end it. The finale didn't bring anything new or shocking or ground breaking. It was telegraphed a mile a way.A vengeful character doesn't have to lose reason entirely.
I mean I think if you look at the show in fine detail yes you can pick logical holes in it but that's always been the case, its never been some ultra realistic depiction of fantasy even if it does have some realistic elements to it.
Yeah and Jon Snow the king in the North did the dirty work and got re exiled for the north to get its independence. Sansa used him as a pawn since they reunited in season 6. He’s still my king from this day until his last day.Agreed, that's just trash writing though.
The Iron Islanders kneeling to a cripple?
Dorne, the most independent of all the kingdoms, who didn't kneel until 100 years after everyone else, only through marriage, are going to, but the North won't?
It felt like a fan service moment. Happy for her, happy the Starks have their independence, it just felt unearned.

You guys need to wake up. The detractors are not the minority, so stop pretending like that's the case. The last episode has an average rating of 1.5 out of 10 on IMDb.
I guess Jon is the new Mance, "King beyond the wall"Yeah and Jon Snow the king in the North did the dirty work and got re exiled for the north to get its independence. Sansa used him as a pawn since they reunited in season 6. He’s still my king from this day until his last day.
Am I the only one who wanted to see the butcher's boy end up on the Iron Throne?
