To be fair, breaking bad declined a bit the last two seasons as well.

Breaking Bad took a slight dip in season 5 only. But nowhere near as drastic as how far GoT has fallen. The writing quality has been in freefall for several seasons at this point.

That was a solid one for sure. Black water was my favorite with The Hound Vs Brie as my favorite fight even tho the outcome was meh..

It was a good looking but very dumb episode.

It would have been more thematically consistent. Theon redeems himself by saving Winterfell and keeping his promise to protect Bran.
