You can't disqualify someone at that level for that man. Maybe a warning for the push, but at that level, if you get your ass kicked it's your problem. It's not the ref's job to save the other guy's reputation.

Andre said in the interview on fightworkspodcast that he pushed the guy just for the guy to react, to open him up because guy just froze up.. so there you go.

He was still doing it to someone in a gym, not the biggest GI comp in the world. Big difference.

I wish we could show these videos to the guy who slammed the other guy in the other thread to show them what slick bjj is.

I love the style of bjj where its just constant movement, putting the person into worse and worse positions until they give the opening for the submission.
