I agree the country wasn’t effected. However, the purpose of almost all political attacks, investigations, etc. are to discredit and damage personal opinion.

Unfortunately for the republicans, Clinton was a decent president, had a good economy, as as much as the right wanted to hurt him, the people didn’t buy it.



That still doesn’t change the fact he was impeached. Democrats should examine every detail and consequence of that endeavor before attempting to do the same to trump.

If he did not tell that lie to investigators they would have nothing on him. They knew what they were maneuvering him into. that is the purest form of perjury trap. An issue most people will lie about (infidelity) that is inconsequential in every way outside the married couple, but since you know they will lie, you make sure you get it under oath, and voila, a crime.
