The guidelines for his previous sentence was 19-24 years. This judge did give him the max 10 year penalty but didn't make him serve it consecutively.

I mean if I’m being honest I believe a couple billion could be allocated from the military budget and used in much better ways. Other than that I came to this country with zero. My mother and father being doctors worked in pig killing factories and cleaning homes and various jobs like Kroger (where my moms first check was stolen cause she didn’t speak English and was hustled) and the like in Louisville Ky. They’ve gone on to re-evaluate their licenses and are very successful, if they can do it why can’t any other immigrants or minorities? Specially those BORN here. Btw when I say zero I mean zero nothing to our name we had to leave it all to the communists....all our money as well

As long as what I wrote above is possible in this country I’m good. Could things be better? Sure they can and I would welcome a competent and intelligent president. Right now Trump is the best we got in my opinion

Socialism is like picograms with Jones a salt size spec in a pool is great and benefits society. These new Dems aren’t talking like that.....you give them an inch and they will take the mile

You are living that American dream and should be proud of yourself and your parents. Not all people are able to pull themselves up with their bootstraps though. Some people on here make it seem like it's just lazy losers that want a handout for not making an effort but that's not always the case. Be it old people, or those with disabilities, or between jobs. Coming from an underprivileged background can put unfair obstacles to being successful. Education is extremely important to our country's future and a widening wealth gap can have severe consequences as well. And just to reiterate, policy is not my main beef against Trump, it's his lack of integrity, his narcissistic personality, and the pathological nature of his lies.
 
He better hope it’s minimum security. I’m sure there’s a nice reward from MS-13 or Nortenos to kill this guy.

..and I’m very appreciative of the chance to get to live the American dream. I thank God everyday for it actually, truly. All I’m pointing out is if some immigrants who didn’t know English and came to this country with nothing made something of themselves there can’t be all these obstacles blocking American born people from achieving the same. I understand some people may have a disability or mental disorder but other than that.....if we can do it they can too. I often tell my grandmother she should of packed up the family and came to the US 1959 and me and my mom would have been born here and my grandfather could have avoided 9 years in a political prison

You're splitting hairs. He got 7.5 not 10 years to serve concurrently with 4 years. So he got 3.5 years additional years on top of 4. He'll do about 5 in total.

I personally know people who got 8 years for being involved with a little scheme that brought them fuckworth of income, and they lost 100x worth on trials. One guy actually got 2nd trial on appeal, then lost that and still served remainder of term. That was brutal on him, I bet. So there you go.

Btw, how much did Popodopy get? Remind me, cause I forget.

MS-13 has little to no presense in minimum or even medium security. They got to max on 23 hour lockdown. State is a different subject, but Manafort is going to federal camp. And it will obviously be a minimum security camp.

Manafort can walk around in prison with head head high, because if someone looks him up they see he didn't rat and is a stand up guy who took on the federal government. That's respected, son. Prison or outside jail. This is why Michael Cohen will have a hell of a time in any camp he's sent to. Nobody treats rats well in prison.

LOL @thinking some central American gangs know who Paul Manafort is.

I'm celebriting Mueller, who is a hack, got nothing for his troubles. I also have respect for Manafort for standing trial- that's what real men do.

you better wait until you see how long he gets before you celebrate it running concurrently. 15 years running concurrently might as well be a death sentence for him.

You have to be a special kind of stupid if you think Mueller got nothing. Do I really need to list all the guilty pleas and findings? Manafort has set a nice legacy for the Trump Presidency with a sentence longer than we have ever seen attached to a campaign head or, I think anyone attached to a campaign. you are laughing like its nothing but its never been seen before and its only the start.

And again, how stupid to celebrate Manafort as a real man. What a joke you are. There is no doubt this guy was conspiring with Russians to impact the election. That is out now. Partisan or not you should not be celebrating that if you have a modicum of self respect.

Oh, stop the drama and the crying.
Speaking of sentencing at state level, one great thing about state prison is that you don't do your whole time- Feds are/used to be far stricter with parole. You basically do majority of your time in Fed vs. State where you get paroled much earlier, especially for non-violent crimes. Even if he gets 10 years to run concurrently, that will be about as meaningful as a slap on the wrist. He'll do a few months maybe at state, if that at all.

He'll do 5 years in minimum camp, regardless. Sorry if it hurts your feelings for whatever weird reason.

But he was not a rat. Rat is culturally far more negatively viewed in US. "Cooperating witness", "source", "informant". They're all rats and should be viewed as such.
