Gagging for it (SCO Thread v. 29) Update Mueller Report Released

Before he was fired he selected Mike Pence as VP, had a meeting with individuals purporting themselves to be members of the Kremlin to have sanctions lifted in exchange for dirt on political opponents, and that pesky little detail about the RNC changing their platform regarding Russian aggression in Ukraine from a pro independent Ukraine stance to a pro Russian stance.

Yeah those small details (among others)

Details nobody gives a single shit about.

In 10 years you’ll still be crying about it,
You're splitting hairs. He got 7.5 not 10 years to serve concurrently with 4 years. So he got 3.5 years additional years on top of 4. He'll do about 5 in total.

I personally know people who got 8 years for being involved with a little scheme that brought them fuckworth of income, and they lost 100x worth on trials. One guy actually got 2nd trial on appeal, then lost that and still served remainder of term. That was brutal on him, I bet. So there you go.

Btw, how much did Popodopy get? Remind me, cause I forget.

GP served 12 days,

for TREASON!!!!!!!!!!

Ok but hes a traitor. Not sure why people would celebrate traitors but Murkans love to do that for some reason.

By traitor, you mean typical rich Washington dirtbag of course.

And let’s not forget he literally worked with the brother of Hillary’s campaign manager.

<TheDonald>

You can’t make this shit up.

... Why do you have to slam my country like this?
Could you please take that and shove it up your fucking ass?

..and I’m very appreciative of the chance to get to live the American dream. I thank God everyday for it actually, truly. All I’m pointing out is if some immigrants who didn’t know English and came to this country with nothing made something of themselves there can’t be all these obstacles blocking American born people from achieving the same. I understand some people may have a disability or mental disorder but other than that.....if we can do it they can too. I often tell my grandmother she should of packed up the family and came to the US 1959 and me and my mom would have been born here and my grandfather could have avoided 9 years in a political prison
Much respect to you and your parents but you didn't come to the country with nothing. You came with two very highly educated parents. That's not nothing. And no, some people are not able to get beyond living paycheck to paycheck for reasons you just don't seem to care to understand, but have nothing to do with work ethic.

You card carrying platinum goof troop members are too much

What about the idea that so many on the right like @grizzard2bid are dancing and laughing as if only 7.5 years is some huge win for Manafort and laughing at the idea that even if further guilty with the new charges the extra time will be minimal.

BTW any State time is said to be unlikely to run consecutively as they have charged different crimes.

How morally vacuous is that to celebrate what he thinks is a guilty person getting away lightly, in his view?

Thank you first of all, but my situation when I came to this country was a lot more dire and troubling than most could understand. My parents just made the most out the opportunities available to them in this country. They weren’t geniuses that won the lottery overnight. It took them almost 22 years to get where they are today. Starting at a base with no English and or knowledge of how anything worked in this country. You telling me that if they could do it others can’t? I mean like I said I understand there’s some physical and mental barriers for some, but that’s just my opinion

8 of 16 Felonies Manafort is charged with in the new NY State charges are for Falsifying records. These are things he has already admitted to in his guilty plea to the Fed's so he will have no defence to them in court.

Looking back one of the main accusations against the Trump Company, Trump Charity and other Trump Org's is the falsifying or records. Remember this...

Cohen is going to jail for this.

Manafort will almost certainly get convicted and more jail time for same since he already confessed.

Does anyone actually think the above picture, which is proof of falsified records, is the only time and only Trump org to sign off on falsified records?

Anyone who was an Officer or Director of those companies will not be protected from Prosecution for those frauds and from what we know Trump nicely set up his kids to be the fall guys for those.

I expect State Prosecutors to eventually perp walk Trumps kids in for Prosecution which I think may end this with a Trump deal to step down and away. I think the only question is do they allow Trump to maintain his estate (assets) or do they make the forfeiture of them a condition of the deal?

So they're trying him on a lot of same crimes- double jeopardy. And even if convicted- to be run concurrently. Slap on the wrist and a PR stunt by the messed up far left NY branch. Must be
"friends of theirs" *wink*wink

Bad logic. I'm not saying others can't. I'm saying some can and some can't, that there are a multitude of factors that influence each situation, and that in many cases, perhaps the majority, it has nothing to do with work ethic. Some people work their asses off just to stay where they are and some advance in leaps and bounds off of the smallest success or lucky break but in neither case does it usually rest primarily on how hard they work (i.e. they're all working hard).

So we agree then? The opportunities are there if you want them. This is not the case in other places

Mueller ‘Pit Bull’ Andrew Weissmann Leaving Russia Probe

andrew-weissmann-cspan-640x480.jpg

Top prosecutor Andrew Weissmann, known as special counsel Robert Mueller’s “legal pit bull,” is reportedly leaving the Russia probe, signaling the two-plus year investigation into possible collusion between the Trump campaign and the Kremlin is drawing to a close.
Weissmann will both teach and study at New York University and undertake several public service projects, which include preventing wrongful convictions by boosting the court system’s forensic science standards, two unnamed sources told NPR.

Weissmann is credited for heading up the special counsel’s case against former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort, who faces seven and one-half years in prison after judges in Virginia and Washington, D.C. handed down sentences of 47 months and 43 months in jail, respectively.

Bad news for you gullible brainlets who thought Trump would go down for treason,

https://dougcollins.house.gov/sites.../files/06.27.18 Interview Of Peter Strzok.pdf

Strzoks testimony was leaked, page 44 he specifically states they were worried about “members of the trump campaign being promoted”.

They were not investigating Trump. Furthermore, on the entire charge of Russians trying to compromise members of the trump campaign, in Strzoks own words.

There is no there, there.

He said that after investigating for almost a year.

How fucking stupid are you all going to feel when the Meuller dud goes poof?
