I think you know Hilary's mention of open borders was referring to trade, Bob. She wasn't advocating for the removal of national borders, Bob.

<TrumpWrong1>

I posted her exact quote.

“My dream is a hemispheric common market, with open trade and open borders”

Do you do nuance, or are you Bush-like? Wait, who am I asking the question to?

That’s some cool spin ya got there kid.

Too bad it’s two years late and you’re still white knighting for a loser who transparently attempts to pander with whatever policy position the last focus group instructed her to.

<TheDonald>

Back in reality, one candidate supported increasing border security. The other candidate literally “dreams of a hemispheric free trade zone with open borders”.

It’s pretty clear who anyone concerned with border security would vote for, regardless of campaign promises.

<TheDonald>

But ya know, you tried...
You just laughed upthread at the idea of any voter believing what a candidate says when Trump was caught out on his comment about draining the swamp.

Now you are saying they vote on campaign promise of border security while also paying attention to what the other candidate says.

Can you see why you are stupid?

Reading comprehension brah, do you even?

No, you don’t.

No, you don’t.
Bobgeese : I don't listen to or believe campaign promises. NO adult does
Bobgeese : I supported Trump because he supported increasing border security.
Bobgeese : I did not support Hillary because she supports hemispheric free trade zone with open borders.

Bobgeeese : can you see how your reading comprehension is the problem.

Lol. You make things too easy being so stupid and quotable.

Ya but you do not deny its appropriate.

You see Bob literally say just upthread he does not believe Trumps campaign promises and mocks the idea anyone would.

Then he literally says a couple post later how it was Trumps campaign promises that swayed him.

The posts are so stupid this is fun.

Judicial Watch Sues for Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein’s Communications During Time of Comey Firing, Mueller Appointment

(Washington, DC) – Judicial Watch announced today that it filed a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit against the U.S. Department of Justice for all records of communications of Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein between May 8 and May 17, 2017.

Judicial Watch filed the lawsuit after the DOJ failed to respond to a September 21, 2018, FOIA request (Judicial Watch v. U.S. Department of Justice (No. 1:19-cv-00481)). Judicial Watch seeks:

Any and all e-mails, text messages, or other records of communication addressed to or received by Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein between May 8, 2017, and May 22, 2017.

The time period referred to in the suit was a critical one. On May 8, 2017, Rosenstein wrote a memo to President Trump recommending that FBI Director James Comey be fired. The next day, President Trump fired Comey. On May 17 Rosenstein appointed former FBI Director Robert Mueller to investigate Russian meddling in the 2016 presidential election.

Between May 8 and May 17, Rosenstein met with then-acting FBI Director Andrew McCabe and other senior Justice Department FBI officials and discussed invoking the 25th Amendment to remove President Trump and whether Rosenstein and others should wear a wire to secretly record conversations with the President.

Judicial Watch previously filed a FOIA lawsuit seeking records of communication of former FBI Deputy Director McCabe, the Office of the Attorney General Jeff Sessions, or the Office of Deputy Attorney General Rosenstein discussing the 25th Amendment or presidential fitness. Additionally, that lawsuit seeks all recordings made by any official in the Office of the Attorney General or Deputy Attorney General of meetings in the Executive Office of the President or Vice President.

“These critical days in May, a scant three months into President Trump’s term, included extraordinary targeting of President Trump by Rod Rosenstein and other Deep State officials at the DOJ and FBI,” Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton said. “Judicial Watch’s focused FOIA lawsuit aims to uncover what exactly Mr. Rosenstein’s role was in any discussions to overthrow President Trump.”

Mueller says Flynn’s cooperation ‘complete’

Michael Flynn’s cooperation in Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation is complete, lawyers for the special counsel said in a Tuesday night report to a federal judge presiding over the former Trump national security adviser’s case.

In the same joint status report, Flynn’s lawyers asked for a 90-day delay in their client’s sentencing so he could continue to cooperate with the government in his former business partner’s upcoming trial in Alexandria, Va. Flynn expects to testify in the mid-July trial against Bijan Rafiekian, who faces charges of conspiracy and acting as an unregistered foreign government agent for Turkey.

Stormy Daniels and Michael Avenatti part ways

Michael Avenatti said Tuesday that his law firm was no longer representing the adult film actress Stormy Daniels, ending a partnership that dominated cable news and led to charges of campaign-finance violations against Donald Trump’s former personal lawyer.

Avenatti said his office terminated its legal representation of Daniels on Feb. 19 for “various reasons that we cannot disclose publicly due to the attorney-client privilege.”

“This was not a decision we made lightly and it came only after lengthy discussion, thought and deliberation, as well as consultation with other professionals,” Avenatti said in a statement. “We wish Stormy all the best.”

Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, tweeted several minutes before Avenatti’s statement that she had retained a new lawyer.

“I have retained Clark Brewster as my personal lawyer and have asked him and his firm to review all legal matters involving me,” she said in the tweet. “Upon completion of Mr. Brewster’s review and further consultation with me, I anticipate Mr. Brewster will serve as my primary counsel on all legal issues.”

NY AG is going over Deutche Bank dealings with the Trump organization...

"NEW YORK — New York's attorney general has opened a civil investigation into President Donald Trump's business dealings, acting after his former personal lawyer and fixer told Congress that he exaggerated his wealth to obtain loans. Trump tweeted an apparent response Tuesday night, decrying his home state and its governor as "PRESIDENTIAL HARASSERS."

Attorney General Letitia James issued subpoenas Monday to Deutsche Bank and Investors Bank seeking records related to four Trump real estate projects and his failed 2014 bid to buy the NFL's Buffalo Bills, according to a person familiar with the inquiry.

Trump's former lawyer, Michael Cohen, told Congress in late February that Trump exaggerated his wealth on financial statements provided to Deutsche Bank when he was trying to obtain financing to buy the Bills.

Cohen told a House committee it was common for Trump to overstate his wealth when dealing with the news media or banks and for him to understate it when it came time to pay his taxes."

More than the Mueller findings, this is what Trump is really worried about.
Mueller is only on his radar so he can continually delegitimize the investigation, as though there's no possibility he might not be implicated.

SDNY will be up his ass with a microscope. (Axel Foley)

@Lead

This post is irrelevant to the Mueller investigation. Based on your past deletions, I'm sure you will delete it.

Again, you have the intellect of a child. So, I’ll dumb it down like I would for a child.

Candidate 1

Campaign promise- “I’m going to build a wall, Mexico will pay for it”
Reality- I might do something to improve border security

Candidate 2

Makes a private statement that she dreams of open borders.

While this wasn’t a policy her campaign was based on, it gives anyone with two brain cells a pretty good idea of where border security will fall on her to do list.

The adults who pay attention to politics can look at these two candidates and vote for the one that matches their beliefs.

PS, you’ve definitely reached “bless your heart” levels of stupidity here. I’m so sorry for your burden.

Angry people lash out at others.

<Fedor23>

It’s fairly evident several leftist posters here have some serious emotional issues. I wouldn’t be surprised to find out that they’re on meds for depression, or have received some other diagnosis.
