So does half of every American who played high school football. Stop being a pussy they are cage fighters
Call me crazy but it's pretty counter productive to point out CTE in a sport where people get feet, shin, elbows, fists & knees to the cranium.
Why is it called football, they hold the ball in their arms, also why they have to push each other all the time?So does half of every American who played high school football. Stop being a pussy they are cage fighters
Most or all of them do. You're failing to acknowledge that CTE is a super broad designation, and that some with it will never see symptoms with it. And others will be heavily affected. That being said Justin went a long time having a style tailor made to receive damage even in victory. Thankfully for him he's fighting smarter these days. Go look at george chuvalo, still pretty together at an advanced age after a career noted for being able to absorb an incredible beating. But on the opposite end you had guys like Ali who's brain damage spurred on symptoms of parkinson into his old age. Or Gary Goodridge, who has to be on a host of medication just to try and feel somewhat normal from all the brain damage he's suffered, and likely will not lead a prosporous life as his age advances into only his 50's. It's a complicated topic. Hell I probably have some sort of CTE from 16 years of youth amateur hockey that involved no restriction on hits, or hits to the head really like they do today. Also Jordan Parsons was diagnosed with it post mortem without only a 14 fight career at 25 years old.
