The party who did everything to fight voter reform spends the next four years trying to demonstrate that Trump should be president and expects everyone to just let Trump back into office because they believe they found enough to overturn the entire election with flimsy and isolated incidencies.

I think it's past the point of trying to get Trump back in now. There are better options out there and I hope they don't let Trump run again even if it somehow comes out the election was dodgy. I think now it's a fight to see what voter reforms can get through so next election we don't have all this crap happen again. I think Republicans would trade Trump ever running again for voter ID and no unsolicited mail in votes.
 
Is it possible to troll as a right wing poster in the War Room? The whole conversation regarding election fraud is based on objective lying by the right...but since pretty much the entire right wing on here believes Trump regarding "it was stolen", what's there to do? Ban the right?

What was dodge? Most of the stuff that bubbled up was not on scale to impact the election or unusual. You have 140 million people voting through a system manned largely by volunteers. Republicans want to act like every single instance of something is reason to overturn the election but the system was never funded or run to catch every single possible error. It was setup to run correctly enough so that the proper person was put into office. People want to treat this like it is Gore vs Bush but this was no way even remotely that close. That is why every single court has thrown out every challenge. Nothing substantive has ever been put forth.

I think that any political party ignores Trump at their own peril. During this weekend's past CPAC, the Republican primary straw poll had him at 70%. His closest rival was DeSantis at 21%. The other 4 entrants had 1%.

The sentence above is the issue. There is no reason an election should be run well enough to factor in errors and get the right person in office. There shouldn't be a single error in 2021. I don't think the election should be over turned, but I think your election system is broken and should be reformed. The fact that we are still discussing this and people have valid points on both sides is pretty nuts. There isn't a valid argument that this was a weird election. Heaps of rules were changed late due to the pandemic. I personally think voter ID and no mass mail in votes is a pretty reasonable request. If you genuinely don't believe that more votes were counted in error as a result of this election on both sides I think you are pretty naïve. I will call it right now that there will be a switch back in the Senate for Republicans and we will hear claims of voter fraud and election issues from Democrats.

The phrase there was no significant voter fraud to change the election results isn't good enough. It should be there was no election fraud because we have processes that cover those issues because we live in a first world country. Something as basic as ID's and requesting mail in votes is a good start.
