FX's FARGO Discussion Thread

Lol, I'm loving Martin Freeman and Billy Bob in this. Odenkirk's character's great too.

The second ep was enjoyable though not the masterpiece the first was. I think the show is revealing itself to be contrived in such a fashion to keep the story going, and as such.. plot holes will start piling up and the characters will be too far fetched for belief. But hopefully it stays fresh

Pretty decent 2nd episode, not as great as the first one though.

I'm not an expert on sign language but it kinda looked like to me that the deaf/mute character and Adam Goldberg was sort of making it up.

I googled the sign language and got nothing. I was curious as to what they were sayin too lol

The quirky humor is great in this series. The cop raising his hand when the Lieutenant said "foyer"..."It means entry way."

Also when Molly is doing the dishes at the chief's house and the chief's wife is telling her how the old chief got killed by a hail stone while eating a snow cone.

Molly - "Oh! What flavor?"

That stuff just kills me.

1st episode - Intrigued
2nd episode - ok
3rd episode - aaand i'm out

3rd episode was not as good as the first 2. Still a good show though.

-Billy Bob
-Colin Hanks
-Oliver Platt

I'm not picking up what you're putting down.
I thought the first episode was pretty close to perfect and the other 2 a slight drop off but overall still an interesting story.

Don't ya know?

You win. I'll give it another two episodes.

But that's all. Ok ?

"So... which one makes the biggest hole?"

that was gold lol

catched up on 2nd and 3rd episode

2nd was more of a setup,
i loved billy bob thornton fucking with people and adam goldberg with the deaf guy

3rd ep. was great again.
the street pharmacy was lolworthy and the ending was awesome

I like the 3rd episode more than the 2nd actually. The show is a slow burn (just like the movie) but it's still one of my favorite new shows.

Interesting. Mr. Wrench (the deaf thug) is actually played by a real deaf actor.
