FX's FARGO Discussion Thread

Anybody else watching season 2?

3 episodes have aired so far, so it's pretty easy to catch up. And season 2 is pretty much standalone, so don't worry if you haven't seen season 1 yet. Just dive straight into season 2.

Awesome. I was just gonna ask about not seeing season 1. Gonna check it out soon

I enjoyed season 1 and so far into season 2, it's still the best thing around.

Yep. This is currently the best show on TV.

Certainly didn't think I'd be saying that when I originally heard that they were making Fargo a TV series. I thought it was the dumbest idea at the time. Never been happier to be dead wrong.

Episode 4 was great. Love this episode.

So many amazing scenes:
- Otto's violent rise to power and a taste of Dodd's upbringing.
- Floyd and Joe's sitdown meeting and the dialogue.
- Lou's dead man walking speech to Ed and Peggy.
And so many more.

Enjoyed the premiere.
Kirsten Dunst's character is crazy, doing that. Now her husband is going to get killed because she is a sociopath.

Wondering what took so long for the thread to pop up. Liking the characters a lot so far. Dunst is the new Lester, I hope she doesn't get Fatt Damon killed. Great casting on the show.

Spot on about Peggy (Kirsten Dunst) being crazy (or just super selfish) and being the new Lester.

I have a feeling Fatt Damon won't make it in the end but Peggy will still survive and going to her stupid class that she enrolled in.

What an episode. I was so-so after the first two, but episodes 3 and 4 have been fantastic.

Agreed. Episode three baited the hook, and last night reeled me in fully. I am now totally invested in the story.

I haven't had time to read all 40 pages here, are there any theories on the UFO shit and did you guys notice the Indian guy Hanzee had 2 hours of missing time?

Kirsten Dunst is kicking ass in this. I'm glad to see her getting a role like this and having some success.

I have no theories. The shit seems so out of place, so I have no idea what they're going for with that. It's some crazy shit.

All great scenes.

This is easily the best show currently airing right now on TV.

Episode 4 was beyond epic. Just keeps getting better.

Didn't seem like a UFO at all. The guy is Native American, seemed like some spiritual enlightening moment.

Waitaminute, this show is actually good?

Sounds like I have to check this shit out.

It's exceptionally good. The acting, the story, the dialogue, the action, the filming, the editing. Everything about it is high quality.

I had no idea Patrick Wilsons character Lou was also the retired cop/restaurant owner from season 1. Apparently season 2 is 27 years ago from season 1.

The knot tying scene was also in season 1 where his granddaughter asks him if he's ever done this before and he replied only once, about 27 years ago.

This truely is the best show on tv right now.

I don't actually. May have to give that a re-watch.

If I remember correctly, it was right before he got hit by the car. There was a UFO in the distance, he looked up at it, got entranced, and that's when he got hit.

Yeah, the show is fantastic.

After your disgust when you find out Dumpster/Sewer guy is still alive, check out Fargo. You can go straight to season 2 if you want since it's pretty much standalone.
