FX's FARGO Discussion Thread

I'm not very knowledgeable about butchering practices, but shouldn't Ed have boned the body before feeding it to the meat grinder?

I think season 2 has started so well.

Loving Fat matt damon and afro tuvac as characters. I'd butcher quite a few people to keep mary jo's titties happy.

New season has been really great so far, can't wait to see where they go with this story. Patrick Wilson is one of my favorite actors and has been crushing it. Fatt Damon is always great and Kirsten Dunst has been great as well.

Wondering what took so long for the thread to pop up. Liking the characters a lot so far. Dunst is the new Lester, I hope she doesn't get Fatt Damon killed. Great casting on the show.

I'm hoping Fatt Damon slowly progresses into something he never imaged himself to be. Likeable every day guys from small town Minnesota doing the unthinkable is a common archetype in the Fargo series.

Staring into the abyss

Great 3 episodes so far. Lots of intense moments. Lou is a bad-ass. Even though I know Lou is still alive in the present day, his tense encounters with the gangsters still are still very taut. Hope Ted Danson's character makes it out alive.

The opening credits for the show are amazing.

Kinda feel bad for the typewriter guy.

Lol at Fatt Damon.

Season I was brilliant. Season II I am looking forward to it. Liked the 2 episodes already so we'll see how good this will be too. I better catch up!

Season I of True Detective was one of my faves too....

I love the opening to episode 3. If anybody has the actual video of the intro, please post it.

Anybody else watching season 2?

3 episodes have aired so far, so it's pretty easy to catch up. And season 2 is pretty much standalone, so don't worry if you haven't seen season 1 yet. Just dive straight into season 2.

Season 2 has been great - genuinely like all the characters and that "fargo" charm is still in play.

Loved when that guy talks about the "politeness" of the cops.

Yep, Mike Milligan's speech and observation about cops' politeness were great. Never was a fan of the actor Bookem Woodbine but his role here as Mike is just terrific.

This show is definitely my favorite right now, this season has been gold.

Loved every episode so far. I'm caught up now, finally. This season is really causing Fargo to challenge Breaking Bad as my favorite show. I loved season 1 but this season has gone up another level IMO.

Best drama on tv in 2015. Too many bare asses on tv this episode though. I remember before the season one of the writers said there would be a focus on women with sort of a feminist bent. So far Kirsten Dunst's character is screwing up fat Todd's life and could end up getting him killed for caring about her, and her co-worker is another poor example of a woman ruining her co-worker's marriage, Jeffrey Donovan's character's daughter is the worst of them all after tonight's episode; but Jean Smart and Christine Milioti's characters have a strong quiet dignity to them and actually care about their families as opposed to the other three, and I enjoy their characters and acting a lot.
