Fuji BJJ Gi Review

i've washed mine dozens of times with no problem whatsoever. take a picture of the rip and post it here so we can see what you're talking about.

Thanks, I'll try it out tonight when I get home. I spoke to Hatashita and they've asked me to return it for an exchange. They seem apologetic and cooperative - So far good service.

I'll keep you guys posted on the results.

sorry like what I said earlier, I don't know how to upload pics. The hole is small so I took a close pic.
Any tips on how to shrink it? other wise I can just remove the link.
 
nah its alright, just hard to tell how big the hole is and where its located, might have been better to take the picture further out.

the hole is not that big...yet. It shouldn't be like that after the 3rd wash right?

I haven't even seen a hole on my $40 judo gi that seems even thinner than the Fuji. I hope the replacement that I get is better. I'm starting to regret getting it and not spending the extra $ for a better one.
 
dude i have a fuji and after 5 months of use it's fine. My guess is that something poked your gi in the factory/warehouse. fujis are fine gis.
 
Great Gi. I'm 6'1" about 200-205 and ordered an A4. I've been able to shrink the top to fit well, but the bottoms are still a bit big. Very good gi, soft and I don't see there being a problem with durability.
 
Just wanted to everyone to know that my Gi is still in the shape it was the very first day that I pulled it out of the package. I still can't believe how high quality this thing is for the amount that I paid for it. This thread had been going strong for a long time, haha.

Don't get me wrong. I really like the gi. Hopefully it was just a factory defect and this replacement one lasts.
 
i swear these forums makes it difficult to buy gi's. I was looking at the padilla & sons, vulkan and this one,, budovideos carries the fuji gi so maybe ill just go in and try it on, then maybe to jiujitsuprogear for the vulkan..
 
i'll be letting you guys know with an update to this thread as soon as mine comes. i ordered it today after work.
 
Anyone knows what is the price of shipping to Europe and how long it takes the most for the shipment to come?
 
after reading lots of good things on fuji gi"s, i will get two, when i have the extra cash
 
just got mine and will i say it is pretty awesome, especially for the price. total of 89 shipping included in that. my mail lady was fucking with me and told me it didnt come yet until i saw it in her bag. i'm 5'11" 175 and i got the A3, it seems pretty good but with some shrinkage it should fit nice and right. i'd recommend this to anyone who is a starter or looking for an extra training gi.
