I'll try to find it at some point sir@StonedLemur says there’s a video of Poatan claiming he’s no longer Muslim. I haven’t seen it myself.

No i am on the whole Caucasus bandwagon.
Only way it would happen is if they ended up comprising most of the top 5, but that's unlikely to happen for a few reasons:
- UFC has a hard cap on Russians
- Not all of them are made the same (Think Duraev, Yandiev, Gamzatov, Abubakar, etc. They sucked)
- There's always a killer who comes out of nowhere and starts to make a name for himself every so often. Usually making the UFC think there's untapped potential in the region and sign a bunch of undeserving guys who end up washing out and not amounting to much (Irish takeover, Mexican signings back when Cain was supposed to carry the flag against Werdum, Canadian fighters as a whole).
Lol i don even know what you are trying to argue aboutyou know ball
those post soviet countries are producing a lot of good fighters right now

I never disagreedthat the "dagestani domination" is a false narrative
Bantamweight - Umar
Featherweight - Evloev
Lightweight - Machachev
Welterweight - Shavkat
Middleweight - Khamzat
Light Heavyweight - Ankalaev
Not really, they've passed on a bunch of guys like Vartanyan, Kerimov, Musaev, Omarov, Timur Khizriev and many others who are by all accounts some of the best guys in the Russian circuit right now."the hard cap" just means we only see the best they have instead of sign a whole lot of cans that would end the mystique of the region real fast
Pereira does a bunch of social media pranks and joke stuff nothing like Islam or Umar who are only spoken about when a fight is coming up.Alex Pereira is a Brazilian Muslim who doesn’t speak English and is doing just fine when it comes to attracting interest from westerners. No worries, if they put on a show, people will watch regardless.
also it's probably true since he seems more like an animist nowadays, like Jiri implied.I'll try to find it at some point sir

Also while giving spots to some very mid guys like: Grigory Popov, Omargadzhiev (won on CS but his record was padded as hell), Tiuliulin, Smoliakov, Khandozko.
Sometimes it's because their style isn't the most fan friendly, but guys like Vartanyan and Musaev were more than deserving of getting signed imo. Not just because their body of work but because they're primarily strikers with great understanding of wrestling that lets them keep the fight standing.
Look at DWCS and Russians they signed - Vakhitov made his mma debut in 2023, Pulyaev in 2022 and even in Russia he is not known only Kuniev can be considered more or less top/good fighter. And previous years - guys there are either friends/teammates of Nurmagomedov or Chimaev."the hard cap" just means we only see the best they have instead of sign a whole lot of cans that would end the mystique of the region real fast
Even then it‘s a false narrative pushed here by people who hate Caucasian fighters. No American fighter in the UFC has a fraction of Khamzat drawing power. Except Jon Jones.People probably won't give a fuck. And if they do give a fuck, I won't give a fuck.
I didn't hear that the entire nation of the United States has been banned from International competitions like the entire nation of Russia has at times. You must know something no one else does?Yeah, they're almost as bad as the Americans
