Methinks these guys are the former.......unless they're girls , in which case they are awesome !

Beat the ever living shit out of a guy that called himself my friend for going after my ex the week of out break up (Dated for about three years, was a bad break up too).

Asshole deserved it, he apologized a year after... avoided me like the plague.

and i'm glad you brought up the point of only hanging with the girl when the boyfriend is around. its important not to let girlfriends become part of the friend group. they are honorary members of our friend group until the inevitable breakup or marriage.
 
if it was something serious that went on for several years where both people were heavily invested in each other, then yes I'd say its pretty fucked up. If it was one of those shitty short term relationships, then I don't think its too bad
 
if it's been 2 years you should be over it. 3 friends though damn. that would still slap me in the face. she must be all kinds of easy.... which should make it easier to notgiveafuu
