If Wilder vs Ngannou gets made in boxing we'll see how it goes. My money's on Wilder knocking him out before Francis is able to get to him. Right now I'm hearing about some mixed rules contest in MMA. Some PFL exec is talking about it. Francis can be hurt and sooner than later you'll see that. Whether it's Wilder, Joshua, or Zhang hurting him in there it'll be undeniable when he gets cracked by a real puncher. However fury was hit with more power shots than he managed to hit mgannou with. If even fury couldn't avoid ngannou's power shots, how can Wilder with his for more basic boxing? Wilder will play right into ngannous preferred countering game by coming down the middle to try to.set up his only weapon - his right cross - with his jab.

Wilder has a habit of measuring distance with his left jab before unleashing his right cross. If that measuring left is nullified eg by hand fighting or parrying and pulling, that is likely to completely put off his targeting system. Also wilder doesn't tend to guard himself when he is throwing bombs as he comes in - meat and potatoes for ngannou's left hook.

that version of Fury was the worst we've seen. He looked completely out of his element and would have looked garbage no matter who is was fighting.I think it's dangerous to have Nganno fight Wilder based on that performance.

Fury literally had no muscle volume. There was nothing but fat behind his puches. i said befor Wilder could potentially kill him and I don't think the Fury fight is representative of his actual ability as much as a testament to Fury's inconsistency.

Ngannou isn't slow - his counters are what wilder will be vulnerable to.

I think he has better timing than he is fast, though he can be deceptively fast in the early rounds, where he is more dangerous with his counters. Wilder, however, seems a bit faster, and given that he likely won't have to deal with as much output as against Fury or Ortiz, he may have more chances to throw his KO-delivering shots. That's why I give him an advantage, though it clearly seems like a dangerous fight for both.
