Didnt chatri say francis didnt just want paydays but he also wanted a chair in the company or something ridiculous lol
A good chair cost a few hundred bucks, and up to 10 000$ for the fanciest ones. It's not that much to ask.Didnt chatri say francis didnt just want paydays but he also wanted a chair in the company or something ridiculous lol

$20M guaranteed. Dana was offering an estimated $8M for Jones, probably with a lesser guarantee, and then two more undetermined fights, which people here claim translates into $24M guaranteed, which it isn't. Seems like the ONE offer is at least comparable, and it's $20M, again GUARANTEED, according to ONE, where people are saying no one is willing to offer him tens of millions, in any scenario.Twenty for what though? Highly doubt it was for one fight plus I’m guessing there were many qualifiers too. So no Dana isn’t wrong.
Does that timeline work though? Jones signed a new contract with the the UFC and agreed to fight Ngannou, Ngannou had an offer to fight Jones by all accounts, Ngannou and his team included by the way admit this, for 8 million for that fight alone, regardless of speculation about his pay for subsequent fights. Unless Frank made significantly more in his previous fights than what is widely reported it far and away would have been the biggest payday of his life, and he turned it down. Now instead he'll end up fighting it seems in PFL fighting a significantly lower calibre of opponent for what we can agree will surely be significantly less than 8 million hoping to attract the attention of a big name HW boxer between MMA fights. If you are accusing Jones of ducking don't you have to accuse Francis of the same thing? Clearly he was worried about the drop in pay should he lose to Jones.Don't let all this nonsense distract you from the fact that Jon Jones waited 3 years to return just to avoid fighting Francis, the moment he left Jon was back and willing to fight anyone BUT Francis for the belt. And now the moment Ngannou is tied up in negotiations with PFL, Jones says him name knowing the fight can't happen now and he's safe. Jones is guilty here of perhaps the biggest duck of all time in MMA history, in terms of avoiding the fight fans wanted to see.
Doubt it was 8 - 10. In any case, as I said, the people here were claiming he couldn't command millions without Dana.I wonder how many fights that was over? I'm thinking at least 5 but likely more like 8-10.
Also he had mad demands to be on the Board of Directors and set his opponents pay.
This is funny. Dana makes up an astronomical sum that he pulls out of his ass, people talk about like it was an offer on paper. For what? 40 fights over 15 years?
You seriously think PFL's offered him over 20 million? For what a 10-15 fight deal?Lol, I'd bet that Francis has made more money than you in the past 9 months. And I'm also going to bet his lifetime earnings will dwarf yours.
Granted, I don't know you and you may be worth 100s of millions of dollars. But I'm going to bet that you're on the 3rd floor of that glass house pelting rocks. Laugh away, rich guy. If Francis is lucky he might hit your stratosphere one day. I bet he's wishing that right now.
Amirite?
EDIT: Basic math. ONE claims to have offered him 20m that he turned down because he prefers his deal with PFL that is being finalized. Assuming it doesn't fall through, would you concede that PFL IS where the money is for Francis if he just turned down 20m for it?
Hint: this involves basic maths. Don't forget to carry the 5.
Ngannou will be fine, Sherdog’s obsession with his finances is a bit weird. Likely he signs a boxing deal, makes 30 million for 1 fight which is more than he would have made in 5 fights for the UFC.
I'm sure there are some people that fit this, but not very many. Most people just want to see him fight again. One of the reasons he's gotten such a large fanbase was because he used to fight a ton. Once he got the belt that all changed. Him accepting an amount is directly related to him getting back into action. I think it's more weird that you've perceived it the way you haveNgannou will be fine, Sherdog’s obsession with his finances is a bit weird. But they are acknowledging that it was right in that $8 million per fight range if he defeated Jones and kept winning. Obviously the pay-per-view buyer rates are an issue but he was at least going to make $8 million for the Jones fight. I’m not with the UFC on most fighter pay issues, however, I’m not a fan of somebody getting a massive guarantee every time they fight for a long contract either. It should be performance-based to a degree. You literally have players in major league baseball collecting $200 million that get injured and almost never take the field.MMA fans are so dumb and brain washed by Dana. You do realise the UFC is responsible for the non stop negative press regarding his negotiations? All because he turned them down.
Ita just unbelievable how dumb most of the world is
As a lot of people correctly predicted, Francis greatly overplayed his hand on this. He deluded himself into thinking, some massive boxing payday was out there for him. That appears to have completely dried up. Tyson, and other boxers Don’t seem to be calling him out anymore. I think part of the appeal was him being the UFC heavyweight champion and that’s gone. Now he can’t close a deal with another fighting promotion that is claiming they’re willing to pay him $20 million. His head is in the clouds.Does that timeline work though? To sign any deal with any organisation at any price he want
This guy is so delusional
Remember when Fury said he want to do a boxing match with Ngannou, i think he just throw that randomly at a time when ngannou was hype and Ngannou believed it
How a guy who grew up in one of the poorest area in the world working in a sand mine as a kid can be so freaking picky about money after being rich already putting against him all the fighting organization in the world
Nobody want or can sign him now, he is completely disconnected from our world

lol who believes that?Maybe he doesn't really fucking care. You bring up working in a sand pit. Dude maybe he doesn't want to work for slime ball human beings anymore. Even if it's for less money and freedom.
Ever think about that? Sometimes people lead lives that hey, money ain't everything, specially if it means I'm not a slave like other idiots anymore.
The dude made a suit of pure goldIt’s not made for life for his tastes. He has a taste for designer watches. And generally when you like stuff like that you like/want other designer fashion items
