Don't you realize US politics have a huge impact on Canada?

We're major trading partners, we share the same culture, etc.

Ontario's PM, Doug Ford, used Trump's playbook to get elected.

Many Americans travel to Canada. Many Canadians travel to the US.

And you wonder why we care about US politics?!?
 
Anyone with a modicum of intelligence (ie. not the Trump cultists ITT) knew this day eventually would come.

There is simply no way one can conduct oneself so immorally and with such blatant disregard for the laws of the land and societal norms, and not end up getting arrested at some point.

i dont really think this is "it" diaper don will just try to stall it through the courts for years, eventually he'll take a plea deal with no jail time, he'll ultimately have to pay a fine which will be peanuts compared to the money he'll grift from the maga trash to "cover his legal expenses" and "fight the deep state" or whatever.

i doubt the teflon don sees any jail time over this stormy daniels bullshit. though his own attorney got to go to prison for it. now if it was regular poor folk who did this shit, they'd be rotting for it a long time ago. just the way the system is.

i'm not a lawyer so i legit don't know how it works, but a felony seems like the type of thing you can't pay yourself out of? of course i am not certain of this.
who's a lawyer here that may offer some insight? @panamaican ?

He's a former president, even if he's convicted he's going to get a suspended sentence. And somehow if he doesn't, he's getting pardoned.
 


this guy got on his knees for jesus, and obviously for his law degree too. he's been an attorney for some of the january 6th domestic terrorists. so obviously he's not a good lawyer either as he has never been able to get any of the insurrectionists exonerated

but i'm sure that his thoughts and prayers have been going out to those convicted clients of his as he hounds them to pay him his legal fees from prison. sure these people weren't able to find mike pence that day, but maybe they'll be able to find their lord and savior jesus christ and ask him for two scoops of Trump Lube and a promo code on a MyPillow.

this cultists cheese has seemed to have fallen off of his cracker. first of all, trump ain't jesus. jesus could turn water into wine, but trump couldn't even turn water into a successful business product. and jesus never cheated on his pregnant wife with a porn star either. and secondly, theyre not going to be crucifying trump on tuesday. crucifixion is not part of the death penalty, and even if it was, it would take 20 years just to execute him just because of all of the appeals it would have to go through. the government doesn't exactly deliver next day executions like it was Amazon Prime.
