Yeah, the powers that be reeeaally don’t want Trump to be able to run for President again. Most likely the charges won’t stick, but by then the media will have the optics of Trump in handcuffs and that’ll be all they need.

Yeah, one of the arguments I've heard against the death penalty in the USA is that it's actually cheaper to give someone Life Without Parole. It costs more in appeals by the guy's lawyers to finally execute him after a couple of decades on death row.

This is true.

I once wrote a paper on exactly that, back in high school or college (can't remember which.)

Of course, that was forever ago.

i doubt they are "arresting" trump. i believe that process involves being held in a cell and waiting to stand in front of a judge for the bail hearing. he's probably just getting indicted where he will just show up for his mugshot and fingerprinting, be handed his list of charges and be out the door before his big mac cools down. but if he falls under indictment and doesnt turn himself in, they can issue a warrant for his arrest.

he just said he's being arrested to overblow the situation and make him look more victimized, much like when he announced that the weaponized fbi unlawfully raided the mar-a-lago. to this day i dont even think anybody would have even known about that search and seizure if trump didn't go raging on social media about it right after.

They are all "I had completely forgotten about Trump and had never mentioned him once in the past two years. I forgot he even held office. Why do the Dems insist on making news about him?! He just wants to play golf and bang hookers. Leave trump alone!"
