For those that say Fedor was a can crusher :

Fedor fought pretty much the same quantity of top fighters during his reign per year as an active modern fighter did.

He simply added sprinkled in freaks/cans/normies to the tab along the way.

Its crazy to me that people think this mindless, wreckless style of brawling would work against fighters of today like DC, Gus and more so cerebral fighters like Jones

Fedor was seen as a can himself when he faced Heath Herring. Lots of people thought Herring would destroy this Russian dude.

So would his resume look better if he would've beaten Gan McGee, Tra Telligman, Paul Buentello and Justin Eilers? He beat every top HW of his era

Fedors voted #1 GOAT on sherdog, this creates alot of butthurt on here

Fujita is a can.

He wasn't very good. Certainly nobody to brag about beating.

Here are Fujita's peak rankings. Cans do not achieve something like that. Fujita was no can in early - mid 2000s, no theory.
It is simply a matter of education and knowledge about MMA history, wich some, especialy new fans simply do not have.

Anyone who calls Fedor a can crusher deserves an extended beating.

I'll always love me some Fedor, fighters get old and start to breakdown. I'll always have the prime Fedor memories.

He beat guys like Nog, Arlovski, and Cro Cop.

While Fedor was in his prime, Werdum was losing to guys like Sergei, Nog, and Atlovski.

Hendo lost to lots of people during Fedor’s rule.

Easy argument.

Oh, and here is Werdum’s vastly improved skill, that prime Arlovski, Nog, and Sergei wouldn’t have been able to handle:

Fedor is the GOAT but I dont want to see him fight again , its enough

it just means he wasn't even that good of a can crusher that he gets caught with sloppy looping punches
obvious because anyone with a straight jab can KO him

BADER GOAT

One of the reasons he took freak fights was because he was very active.

How can people hate on him for being active ? lmao, also it was extremely risky since hw's have the most power, one shot could have ended him but instead he went undefeated for 10 YEARS in the most dangerous divison

#fedor=goat

The one who first KO'd him wasn't a HW though.

HW isn't the most dangerous division outside of Pride.

Cro-Cop was unstoppable when Fedor beat him. Same with Nog.

He beat a lot of very good fighters and beat a lot of cans. People that deny either one are foolish

So condescending. Written like a self absorbed 14 year old. Lol.

Anyway, I’ve watched Fujita fight. The guy sucked. He made a name for himself by beating Kerr who basically became non active after like the first 90 seconds. I forget what he said. Something about low blood sugar. But yeah, that fight is a farce. The Shamrock fight was another joke. Shamrock beats on Fujita for like 5 minutes straight then damn near had a heart attack from too much ephedra or some stimulant. And anyone with a double leg can beat Yvel.

Fujita is the true Homer Simpson of mma. He basically would take your best shots until you got tired. And he’d get the takedown and hold you down pretty well.

I mean, he’s as tough as they come. So he’s not a total can. But in terms of skill level, he was a Betamax in the age of the dvd.

Rankings are funny. Context is everything. I mean, look at his record after his win over Yvel. Lol.

A shit ton.

If Fujita is a can, so was Matt Serra and...

That's just scratching the surface.

I’ve changed my mind about Fedor. But tell me more. Which other elite fighters have been clipped by cans?

hmmm...nah...

Kerr was still active after the 1st 90 sec (only ground control b4).: that´s when he basically started to inflict legit damage> multiple [wtf] knees to Fujita´s head.
When he akcnowledged that Fujita was still game, he clearly went down mentally (see his very next [weak] TD attempt).

The physical problem Kerr claimed he had was later during the fight.
