Elections For Canadians (and sure, Americans and others can chime in): Is this a good reason to vote Liberal in the upcoming Canada election?

Gen x is weird as fuck...that should be the most conservative base. Although canadian pollsters don't distinguish between likely / registered voters so I don't know how modelers are weighting their probabilities.

I'm Gen-X and you are right. We were the original McJob generation. The earliest of the generation kind of still got the boomer entitled jobs while the latter were the first to realize that they weren't going to do as well their parents -- and just gave up. A lot of Gen-Xers still take their cues from the CBC and CTV. They need it in 4 mins and someone else to form their opinion for them.

Since you know my backstory I'll tell you something interesting. My ugrad graduating class was a split between people living like their parents life -- job, house and marriage, right out of school -- while others (like me) had no plan. Knowing people that graduated just before us, the graduates all went straight into jobs. I'm pretty sure our class, or the previous one, was the first to have some aimless people. I ended up staying in touch with the 'unconventional' crew and they're all still doing unconventional things. One guy literally lives off the land, another just sails everywhere, and another (close friend) became a swim instructor after graduation.

Coming on at the right time with the right platform. Liberals will hit the old faithful abortion and gun rights imminently to counter Pierre's rise.

Pretty much the entirety of the Liberal campaign has been is to just spam lie after lie hoping some of it sticks to the wall.

There is only one truth, yet there is unlimited lies. That is why the Liberals are constantly flip flopping while the Conservative message has been the same for years.

The Conservative party has had it enshrined into their party policy to never restrict abortion laws for 20 years, the last time the any conservative party put forth any legislation to limit abortions was in 1989 to try and criminalize non medically necessary abortions.

This was 36 years ago, Liberals are still running on an issue that was settled a long time before the conservative party even existed.

The biggest fear campaign they have been running is the Trump and Elon connection to Trump.

Here is a video that outlines that not only does Mark Carney have deep connections to both, but shows how much of a traitor to Canada he really is.

Timbit Trump is going down.

Carney bless.

Nice to see the CBC in the American press room drumming up more fear for the Liberal base.

Right here on the ass, where I keep my wallet.
Just get a wallet chain, you don't need to keister your wallet bro
lol your a fucking moron you have state sponsored media begging the US to go after us ON CAMERA, you have all the proof that Carney is actually connected to Trump with all the receipts shown and you still cling onto to the Pierre=Trump narrative, even though CSIS has released TWO separate reports and a recent press conference highlighting how China has been funding and pushing this narrative for years.

How do you feel knowing that Chinese officials decided your opinions for you ?

That was pathetic to see the CBC just begging the Americans to attack Canada so they can use it on the campaign trail.

I mean she didn't force Barbie to start going off on the 51st state shit while grinning ear to ear.

Fuck off with that noise. Elbows up bitch

I've had similar experiences with class mates; especially with guys who decided to go to Asian and South America and go off grid. Although I'm noticing more and more that a lot of them are leaving their pursuits of sustainable living engineering pursuits and try to get into the defense realm in the US. Add in my gen is the last real cohort of trades men and I'm not buying that Xellenials are as liberal leaning as polls are showing.

Then again, those trends are being replicated across multiple polls so it may be true. Hopefully the younger generation shows up to vote blue or lefists soyrange ndp voters decide that carneys corporate love, tax and spending cuts doesn't jive with their mantras. OR Carney blows the French debate and the frogs go back to bloc

Just curious, of the parties I wonder the percentages of the MPs that are landlords/own multiple rental properties.

My vote is going to whoever will clamp down on vacant homes, foreign investors/landlords, immigration, TFWs loophole.

Unfortunately I strongly believe both parties are and have been using homes as a vehicle for enriching their portfolios, so canada is screwed either way.

Green Party contesting the debate boot is hilarious. Straight up confirm they didn't meet the 90% riding threshold for strategic reasoning, flabbergasted they get rejected for not meeting criteria. Kitchener and Guelph backing these weirdos is sad.

Also, not sure there should even be a French debate if the frogs are choosing a 6pm debate time so they can watch the Habs lose tonight.

How seriously do they take elections if they host at a time that majority of frogs won't be available to watch?

I support candidates picking their own voice dubbers in French debates. Although Singh getting the female voice is fitting
