Crime Flash Mob Theft Trend Thread

It's literally a group of people appearing at once, flash mob is the perfect term. A bunch of thieves doesn't sound as ominous as a flash mob to me.

Though I was expecting some performance artists putting on an act while stealing shit like a heist movie.

Its 2019.

When you say "flashmob" to someone, they picture something like this:

modern day Robbing Hoods, taking from the rich and giving back to the poor

The title of the article literally calls them flash mob thieves. You're whining about nothing.

“A store representative said that the only section of merchandise left untouched was that which contained the work boots.”

<{anton}>

I liked the one about Fathers Day Cards

lol @ the word "flash mob" designed to obfuscate the truth and make them seem like a harmless, trendy thing kids do nowadays.

Call them what they are, THIEVES!!

From the one picture there was another common theme.

These stores need to find a way to remote lock the doors a trigger a police call instantly when this shit happens. How are going to stand around and let these fuckfaces do this and leave and not care?

Shit like this is just adding to the reasons why brick and mortar stores are becoming too costly to operate.

If you're working retail for minimum wage and a large group of people walk in and start stealing shit, you're not risking your life to save overpriced merchandise. And you're probably not going to care that shit got stolen. The only people who will is whoever owns the place.

When I was 16 and working at a gas station, do you think I cared if someone was stealing forties from the fridge? Fuck no. 6.50 an hour isn't worth caring about the merch, and certainly isn't worth taking actual measures to stop the crime from happening. Multiply that by an entire mob coming in and stealing beer, candy, whatever. I'm going to watch it happen, call the police afterwards, and laugh about it with my coworkers the next day.

I'm not saying the workers should do something to the people,.. again there should be way you can hit a remote lock so they can't get out and it automatically calls the cops.. they don't have to stop anyone, just wait for the cops to show up.
