Finnegan's Wake

Hmm... How much do you weigh nowadays, Finny? I know I COULD probably find the answer easily, but I'm just lazy like that...

Finnegan looks like a guy that my mom would tell me not to go near.

Kripto: I was always told that any man your mom told you stay away from meant that she'd do him if she had the chance.

Cindy Circuit:

5 pullups
10 pushups
15 bw squats
Repeat as many times as possible for 20 minutes

Results: Cindy Circuit x 18. Fuck.

Impressions:
Well, that pissed me off. I did this at the end of the day of work instead of the beginning. My legs were screaming after the day's walk (being in a hospital, I walk 6-9 miles a day for my job, brisk pace).
I figured on doing one a minute for 20 minutes, and using the remainder of the minute as rest. Well, that didn't work out too well toward the end. A few stolen seconds here and there caught up to me.
I hope to clear 20 by the end of the month.

christ that's a lot of cindies....a fucking orgy if you ask me...

great job with the cardio, mma, and lifting. you are going to be a scary sob to deal with in the ring...something between rampage jackson and fedor emelienenko...

Impressions:
Not too bad. A little sore from "Cindy", but overall pretty good. The ATP neck harness worked great. Once I got it adjusted, it didn't slip or move at all.

However, the most important thing of the night: I figured out how to double up on a jab. I was working the DE bag, and half way through the second round, and it just all clicked. It was a magical moment. I love it when stuff like that happens. I'll test it in sparring this weekend.

Awesome job Finnegan. That's an incredible increase over the year. Shows what hard work and desire can do for a man.

Return of the Z-Dead. 365 x 5 was easy, and my legs are fucked from Cindy and the bagwork yesterday...
Cleans were esp. easy tonight. Haven't done them at high weight for a while, so we'll see where I am on those soon as well.

On a sad note, I checked my barbell, and sure enough, its got a slight bend in it. I have a spare for pressing though, so I don't need to rush out and buy a new one just yet.
I did the Dynamic rows by putting my CAP weights (they have cur outs) on my collar holder (also known as a curl bar).

Pretty happy with this one. I thought I had the 200 lbs thickbar. I'll get it next time. Happy with the pinching, happy w/ the Get Ups. Overall, a pretty good workout.

I'm sure the anvil horn lifts helped a lot on training for this. I ran out and snagged a pic:

Yeah, the get ups were murder. I got the first 200 lbs in under 1:30, the last one by about 3:00, and a lot wallowing on the floor trapped under a sandbag for the rest of the 5 minutes.

Sandbags are awesome. I really should make some real ones instead of just stuffing my seabag with whatever's laying around...although the jostling and awkwardness of various shapes and sizes does have it's place I think...

Great job on your PR, and really the entire workout!

it makes me nervous that if I have you in side mount, you could, in theory, just stand up with me still holding onto you.

A+

Oh wait, wrong log… my bad. You can disregard that.

Good job Fatty! Glad I could help w/ the motivation.

You did, indeed. Your crazy progress has been inspiring, especially since it is evident that it has come from hard work. Your training is orderly and consistent and you don
