Fighting Games Discussion

This is the second time that this character has been changed. First, he was K9999, then Nameless, and now Krohnen.

However, it's nice that they changed the roster up for the next beta. Blue Mary will definitely be one of my mains.

Lol, it took him over 60 tries to defeat the General? Not surprising.

who is this character lol

The General. He's the hidden final boss from Kaiser Knuckle aka Global Champion. It was a six button fighting game, but there were five levels of attack strength instead of three. To face the General, I believe you had to go through the game without losing a round which was a normal requirement back then.

One of the bosses is a judoka from Russia...named Gonzales...who wears a coonskin cap. His throw range would make Zangief cry.

Nameless was waaaaay too KoF-edgy design, but at least was a good design in the sense he was'nt an eyesore

This Krohnen guy is basically cringe falcoon's fantasy Alba Meira with K999's ugly color scheme

Considering this is their third attempt i guess we have to wait 7th version for a decent character design lol

Nameless was just a redesign to avoid all of those blatant Akira references. That's why SNK removed K9999 from official media, though recently the SNK community manager said that he "had to keep the lie going for years."

This AND KOF XV? It's going to be a great weekend.

Yeah i know, but fun thing is that seems of that rip-off design they grasped on the color scheme wich was only thing they half invented (bright blue hair and bright yellow vest, red cape came from Akira) but was total eyesore lol

Good thing is new KoF offer plenty of alt colors, guess he will have at least one normal lol

That was the norm (goal) back then personally for me. If I couldn't beat the game without dropping a round with at least one toon then I was at the very least considered trash in the game. Of course it doesn't mean i wasn't still trash when going PvP but I considered that one of the bare requirements.

Then again how hard was it back then to back up and do jump kicks in MK I? lol

He had a few different colors in 2002. I remember the one with the red vest and black pants not being too bad, lol. I did find him somewhat fun to play, but annoying to fight against.

Lol, they might as well say that MK11 uses no brain.
