He finally released a part 2
Like every other time a KoF chapter was released, i'm REALLY trying to like KoF15 (downloaded the beta), but seems i just can't
I even like the new art style and the cast selection has been pretty decent so far, but i just can't get into it
SNK just lost me when they left Fatal Fury apparently
SamSho still good though, aside shitty DLC characters last one has been pretty nice

Yeah shame, too bad FG today are so influenced by online and their ability to stay relevant because otherwise people will fly to next cool shit.SamSho died in about a week due to the shitty netcode. A damn shame since it was a pretty good game.
What don't you like about KOF? Gameplay? Controls?
Tbh i don't dislike Luke design at all, it make sense within SF style, it's just bit overdoneI wish I could be interested, but unlike the new characters in other fighting games, I just roll my eyes at Luke.

Outside some DLC seems a game made with lot of love for the series style
On KoF chara design is first barrier, ever been
SNK pushed on the side old school capcom-style badasses like Terry Bogard and Ryo Sakazaki of FF/AoF era the day they felt in love with skinny jpop guys... and the more KoF goes on the further it goes
To be clear there's design coeherence in most of what they do (outside Shun'ei/Meitenkun wich are just terrible lol) and i truly respect that, but it's simply not for me
There are plenty of SNK characters that i consider chara design masterpieces, but reality is 9/10 of them are from the past (Bandeiras and Antonov are recent and pretty good though)
Next also animation/flow wich feel someway "too light"(?) at least to me that i'm used to capcom's much heavier impacts feel. Again, stylistic choice and tastes
But on reality is a good thing, KoF fans deserve to keep have KoF games that keep that style/vibes alive.
As SF guy would have been a tragedy if SFV took a MK style turn (wich almost happened lol), basically receive dog crap instead chocolate to me
So yes, just keep KoF KoF
Controls are good, i like also the huge combo potential. Usually when i buy a new KoF i enjoy first days discovering combos and tricks, but for whatever reason i quickly lose interest
Still Capcom vs SNK 3 remain my wet dream fight game
Just let me pick the cast
PS: shame Garou MotW never had a sequel, they even had chosen the cast

Biggest issue with SF art is that people that don't like SF style (wich include lot of SF players lol) are unlikely to like them... but tbh i prefer capcom to stick with style coherence over win new fans
Example in the fgc SFV new characters have rep of be bland and uninspired, but reality is most of them make perfect sense within SF universe
Then SFV ingame 3d artstyle is terrible (it's also because capcom hired external modellers that don't understood/care about the concept), but this is another story
No, i'm fine with thatMaybe it's the aggressive gameplay in KOF that you're not a fan of?
Iirc she was supposed to be a disciple of Joe, so i guess she would have variants of his moves, like Kim's sons in same gameI've always wondered how that Muay Thai girl would play if there was a Garou sequel.
Although SFV isn't my favorite in the series, I actually like a lot of the new characters, more than SFIV. Laura, Menat, G, Zeku, and Kolin. I even like Abigail because he's just fun, heh.
Yeah, but in Garou it's more common the disciple just to be more like a variation of the master, see Kim's sons, Marco Rodrigues, Rock HowardBTW, I'm not sure if that Muay Thai girl in Garou 2 would fight like Joe. Look at Hokutomaru compared to Andy and Mai.
This looks awesome. ArcSys games look the best imo. They kind of use the same artstyle for a lot of their games but the animations and everything look so good that it doesn't bother me that they don't really deviate too much from what they're good at.
I'm thinking maybe there's some auto-combo action going on based on that trailer, purely a guess but it kinda gives those vibes. I'm not a fan of auto-combos so I hope I'm wrong but either way I am planning on getting this game barring some horrible information about it comes out.
