Fighters with the Most UFC Title shots...Who is the title shot GOAT?

This is not a thread to disparage anyone. I am just curious to document the fighters who got the most title shots,and what they were able to do with them. Interim titles dont count (unless they were upgraded to the real belt) but i will mention them seperatley as it does paint the overall picture. I also excluded titles won in the WEC that were changed to UFC titles later.I also decided to keep it to guys who have had at least 4 world title shots and up.

Not sure I understand what this thread is about. Your nominations seem to be fighters with most failed title shots.

Going by your definition ("most UFC title shots") it's gotta be Jon Jones and/or GSP.

No just who got the most shots. Its that simple. It doesnt matter if they failed or succeeded,just who was able to get alot of shots is telling. It could mean various things. Just made it to discuss these things

My bad, I was thinking of fighters who have been in most title fights, title shots imply they were the challengers.

In that case, I'll throw in Joe Benavidez (0 wins in 4 title shots) and JDS (1 win in 3 TS).
