To Cohen admitted to previously falsely saying he didn't know about a meeting in general when he knew one happened but no details so didn't think it important

This shit sucks that I legit have to go to Sherdog to try and get some just straight facts on this story. I also seem to have an inherently more difficult time grasping white collar crime stories in general than just about anything else.

COHEN made the false statements to (1) minimize links between the Moscow Project and Individual 1 and (2) give the false impression that the Moscow Project ended before “the Iowa caucus and . . . the very first primary,” in hopes of 5 limiting the ongoing Russia investigations.

That last bit about hoping to limit the investigations is called obstruction. Now, I'm not a lawyer but I still don't think this is enough to get Trump despite the writing being on the wall.

I'll take a crack at it later today after I look at the relevant documents.
 
In one court filing Mueller proved that the congressional investigation was at best rushed or at worst inadequate.

Quite clear Mueller is sending a message to legislators on the hill.

I believe the short version is that he's agreeing that he lied to Congress and misled the investigation about how much DJT/Individual 1 knew regarding the TT Moscow deal
 
its should be clear to anyone why trump didn't reveal his taxes, threatened Mueller if he investigated his business dealings and why he embarrassed the country kissing so much putin ass.

To which Trump has already countered that Cohen is just lying to give the counsel what they want. It's obvious BS but perhaps a reasonable accusation, considering Cohen is admitting to lying in the first place.

Despite the elation of Reddit comment sections there needs to be more to indict. Perhaps a witness who isn't a known lying sleazeball or some audio tapes confirming Trump's knowledge and intent to obstruct.

Yea it's just going to be a he said she said between two proven liars. That's not enough. If Mueller can get more and more people to corroborate then he will have a stronger case. Which is what I assume he's doing.
