Fedor taps mark hunt

I remember people calling the win over Hunt was just one of the cans Fedor crushed back in 08 when I started watching MMA..
Anyone saying that dont know shit about shit, and should be dragged out into the street and publicly humiliated.

They were calling Werdum a UFC reject when he lost to Werdum as well.

This fight is why Brock would steam roll Fedor. If Hunt is rag dolling you, you got BIG problems. Fedor still GOAT but horrible match up. Don't @ me.
In the stand up Lesnar would turn and run and sound like a runaway elephant once Fedor put his lunchboxes upside Lesnar's dome. At least Hunt was bringin some guns of his own to the shootout, and aint gonne turn into a deflated baloon in the process.

Lesnar would need Paul Heyman there to throw the towel in.

That's true, Lesnar doesn't like getting touched. He did take some absolute bombs from Carwin tho, but after his intestinal issues he became a shell of himself. That being said, I just don't see Fedor - who is really a chubby MW - stopping the TD from a juiced up Mack truck Lesnar. In the cage, Lesnar would have the added advantage of being able to just pin him and smother him. See what Bigfoot did, and Bigfoot aint got nothing on Lesnar - that is also the era we are talking about the potential bout being made, not when kettle bell Fedor was on his canned tuna fish diet.
He can kill him before the takedown. Also takedown dont mean shit. He took plenty of guys down and they didnt die. Ya gotta kill Fedor to win.

Bigfoot would have beaten Brock like he stole something.

Meh, Im not so sure. I look at what Cain and DC did to Bigfoot and I am not so sure he would not end up like Mir. To me, Bigfoot is a lot like swole Mir but less potent off his back: big, slow, good power but poor TDD Brock was an absolute specimen at his peak, and his performances against Herring, Couture, Mir and Carwin demonstrate this very well. Heck, even his performance against Hunt was super impressive and Hunt and Bigfoot are very evenly matched. Bigfoot had good offensive BJJ but was horrendous off his back, much like fellow black belt Vitor. I think the take down happens, and it just depends if you think Brock would be able to control him enough and inflict enough damage, and I think Brock absolutely would smEsh. I do not let my love for GOAT Fedro or the fact that Brawk was a shell off himself vs Ubereem (who I consider the best fighter of all time) distract me that I think 2008-2010 Brock beats Fedor/and/Bigfoot.

You need to take Brocks balls off your lungs and out of your mouth lol

Ancient Randy Coutue stuffed Brocks takedowns and got back up to his feet after Brock took him down

And lol @ comparing Brock to Cain and DC- two guys with great chins, very good hands and good endurance.

TRT Bigfoot would beat the fuck out of Brock 8/10 times.

Hunt was a noticeably worse grappler and worse wrestler back then by a wide margin. Fedor just didnt even train for that fight because he broke his foot/toe while hunting a few weeks before the fight and didnt take it very seriously and Hunt surprised him a little bit.

Hunt only became a good grappler when he moved to the US and was training his wrestling with ATT and was promoted to brown belt in BJJ under Ricardo Liborio.

His grappling was terrible before then. Just caught a sleepy, lazy goat but surprise.
I am not sure if you are joking?? Hunt had a good groundgame when he was younger, but as he got older, he only focused on his kickboxing. By the time he got into the UFC he was still a dangerous striker, but with very little groundgame. Instead of grappling, he focused on his tdd. Around the time he fought Wanderlei, his groundgame was at its very best. Now he is just a pure striker, but it is quite normal to focus on the thing you know, as you get older, And the physique is worse.

Lol??

Mark Hunt became a brown belt in BJJ at ATT under Ricardo Liborio. At no point in Hunts pride run was he close to being a brown belt..his grappling in Pride was downright terrible and it was bad in his early UFC run as well which is why he got submitted by horrible fighters like McCorkle. In Japan he got submitted by Yoshida, out grappler by MW Wand, easily subbed by Fedor then got easily taken down by young ass 185 Mousasi and easily submitted by Reem. His grappling got better in the UFC after dedicating himself to ATT and hes a better grappler now than he ever was. Anyone saying Hunt was better grappler in Japan is honestly clueless lol

This is another example of how much overrated Fedor's ground and wrestling was.
I'm not hating, he was the best HW at the time and likely a good guy outside the ring.
But he got mounted by Hunt and couldn't escape side mount for good minutes against a K1 guy.

Easily??? they spent 8 minutes on the ground with Hunt winning 7 minutes of them on points.

You must have forgot the part where Fedor easily took him down and had him in an armlock in the first minute. Then Hunt slipped out and did nothing on top but go for a shitty kimura attempt then Fedor got up and took him back down and submitted him with ease.

People tip a cap to Fedor for this fight but this was Hunt the kickboxer. Hunt of the past 5 years would blast Fedor's head into orbit.

Hunt of the past 5 years has taken plenty of ass whippings. So please stfu with your dumbass predictions. It could go either way because both past their prime af.
