Fedor started slowing down at 33, GSP retired at 32, Jones is 32..

GSP lost to Hendricks and then fled during the USADA era even though Dana and everybody else said that he owed the fans, the belt, and Hendricks a rematch

Time stamped:

Say what you want about Dana but he was absolutely right here

Idiotic post

GSP is the first WADA tested fighter in MMA history. He went through with it even after Hendricks, who instigated it, pulled out. GSP paid for it out of his own pocket, after Dana called WADA testing in MMA stupid.

The fight was a coin-toss and it was the only coin-toss of GSP's career. Outside of the 2 losses which GSP avenged in style, he wasn't really tested elsewhere.

GSP proved himself once more by returning in the USADA era, to fight Bisping for the MW championship. GSP refused the shortcut which the UFC gave Lesnar, and instead GSP opted to be in the pool and tested 6 months before fighting... again, GSP did this to prove a point.

Even after all this, you nut jobs still find a way to weave in your false narrative. Such is the petty state of your angry existence. Unfortunately, Facts will remain facts, regardless of the hate.

Fedor was past his peak but he was still a heavy weight in his prime, it was mostly mental with Fedor.

Fedor is still a top 2 goat to me, but you don't get a pass just because you decide you wanna brawl and it turns out bad.

To me Anderson has the arguable GOAT longevity in MMA, more so than anyone else on the mount rushmore of MMA. He aged like fine wine....no one could have predicted he'd hold the belt until 2013 when he won it in 2006.

Justin Gatlin won the 100m world title aged 35 in 2017 and got a silver aged 37 in 2019.
Just because Jones is 33 in July it doesn't mean he's done and Gatlin has an even worse record at failing drug tests than Jones does.

you and Dana are both dumbarses then as it was another 18months until USADA was introduced to the UFC, GSP had already said he was going to retire and had also stated that more testing was needed. Nice try with the revision, I bet youre one of these keyboard experts who can pick a fighter on steroids with your ' eye test' too.
Expert in the house!

Just because Dana said it,dont make it true. GSP doesnt owe nobody shit. Dana and the UFC would have him lose cos they found a shiny new toy in Hendricks, and knew GSP was on the way out. They use you up and spit ya out. They can fuck off.

Fedor's fight with Brett Rogers, he struggled. Of course he was giving up some 40 pounds of weight, but he always was the smalller guy and it never bothered him in the past. He looked slower, weaker and unmotivated. He still dominated every second of the fight and KOd the guy but this was the fight that was an eye opener for us Fedor fans, that he is beginning to slow down and becoming reckless. Fedor was fighting for 9 years and was undefeated. He would go on a bad losing streak from this point, many believe he should have retired undefeated.

GSP retired at the young age of 32. He did it after he had a tough fight with Hendricks which many believe he lost. He was dominated in that fight in every aspect of the game. He slowed down too and with usada looming around, it was time to call it quits.

Jones will be 33 this years and he too seems to be slowing down, allowing the rest of the pack to catch up with him. He looks very beatable now, he was arguably beaten in his last two fights. Should he retire undefeated?

Goats retire or start to lose steam at young age! 32/33 is that age.

except for Anderson who ruled the world till 38.

Meanwhile Anderson was getting tapped out in his prime by midget Japanese cans

Shit for brains.

Jon Juice Jones doesnt have as much mileage because he took 3.5 years off when he was suspended for steroids. His problem isnt age, its the fact that hes an unimpressive fighter without steroids. He can still coast for a bit but his time is coming. Sooner or later hes going to catch a beating.

I love how the narrative on a Jones topic has turned into GSP ran from USADA and Hendricks. Yet most are ignoring he went out and got 3rd party testing that the UFC didn't want, and Hendricks is the fighter that was never the same after USADA implemented testing.

Oh, and Bisping and GSP are 2 years apart in age, don't use age as an excuse, point out the differences in accumulated damage, the additional 10 fights or the fact that Bisping has fought as big as 205lbs. Mention having one freaking eye!

And look at how the UFC acted when he WON,and took a break. They treated him like a piece of shit. After takin the UFC from tears to fuckin glory.

Boom...

Jones fought sporadically until his comeback against Gus, and popped hot for what, the third time? So less wear and tear. Not all careers are the same. DC basically started in his 30s and looked very fast. But yes, most athletes start declining at 32+ so we will see. The juice thing puts things into perspective though. Jones threw DC around and couldn’t take down a dude that Volkan bullied. Doesn’t make sense
Fighters that are Jon Jones size aren't declined at 32 unless it's from damage in their career. Big dudes are at their best in their early and sometimes mid thirties (in the fight game, not say, basketball.)

Well, look at the big brain on Georges!
