Fedor ducking Alistair Overeem debunked with nothing but cold hard facts

These 'facts' are really just straw clutching from Fedor zealots.

You can take quotes and try manipulate things into making it look like Fedor was choosing the hard path by fighting higher ranked fighters all you want, you can take quotes from Coker who was protecting his cash cow and co-promoters (m1).

The truth is Fedor was the #1 HW, the 'GOAT', he was fighting in SF...he choose to fight others over the champion when everyone, his fans, his detractors, SF...they all wanted him to fight Overeem in the title fight but he and his crew repeatedly called Overeem a steroid bully and demanded next level drug testing. You can view this as you wish, what I see it as, and I struggle to see how others can see it any other way is, that Fedor and/or his people, did not want to fight Overeem and were scared shitless of the man, they wanted him drug tested like no one else had been in MMA, you can say this is fair but the point still stands, he and his people were openly refusing to fight Overeem and hiding behind the "he's on steroids" excuse.

Imagine if some GOAT, some #1 champion came to the UFC...and refused to fight the champion because "he's on steroids, it's not fair, he's a bully". The man would be fucking ridiculed.

Fedor has fought people roided up to the gills before, he has fought huge men before, he has fought top class fighters...the only time he took issue with size/PEDs was with Overeem. That's a fact.

Nobody here is butthurt, you're the one who scavenged the internet for some glimmer of hope to protect the image of your hero. Then came here posting it like it's a royal decree. I'm sorry buddy, but the only people who are going along with it are huge Fedor fans who have been burying their heads for a long time. No one is getting converted. Fedor did not want any part of Overeem circa 2009-2011. That's a fact.
 
I don't need any of those facts to know that Fedor never ducked anyone. The dude fought whoever was put in front of him. He fought prime HWs. He fought freak show guys where he had nothing to gain and everything to lose.

The idea that Fedor would ever duck anyone???

Then of course factor in his K1 accolades...winning the GP, beating Hari, Aerts, Saki & Spong. Yeah, you could argue his resume is better than Fedors.


Who are Fedors big wins, Cro Cop, Nogueira, Sylvia, Arlovski, Coleman, Hunt, Randleman, Schilt...honestly I think Overeems victories are better.

Umm, sorry pal, but we're actually talking about whether Fedor ducked Overeem in Strikeforce.... 6 years ago. Not sure what thread title you are reading but maybe you should re-read it because everyone is literally talking about something else.

Overeem a GOAT contender.... I'm cheering for Overeem over Stipe but this is just ridiculous.

You're trying to tell us a guy who has NEVER once been the #1 HW in the world.... is possibly the greatest heavyweight of all time. Makes sense on Sherdog I suppose.
 
Overeem literally flew to the Netherlands to avoid drug testing. That's a fact.
