Opinion Federal vs State

education should be an enumerated power to ensure equal funding, not a reserve power funded by local property taxes and federal block grants

Sanctuary cities flagrantly and blatantly violate federal law, all states that participate in such should have grants and other privileges revoked

That would be fine but the students should also be taught a broader spectrum of things, should they decide to move out of that community when they get older!
I think the school systems are capable of deciding that. I don't think we need the Feds or really the State bureaucrats telling teachers what to do. Local school systems can do that better to meet the needs of their students.

Parenting and morality. The city kids would be benefited if a good local Bible Pastor taught them about God and his word in the Bible.

Oh man Rip, you nailed it. If only they were more christian, everything would be great.

That totally explains why Brazil, a country where 86% of the population (higher than the US) is Christian, has a murder rate 40% higher and severely worse schools.

If only they had more bibles, they would be punching with the heavyweights in no time.

<Huh2>

The only problem I have with the state level would be if southern states, for example, taught that the confederates were right, or some chit like that! Anything that would cause separation of the nation. Like sports teams and their fans/rivals!

I think Confederates were right about some things like States rights. But I'm glad the slavery of Blacks in America is a thing of the past.

I’d be fine with it if all states presented it like “this is what the union’s ideals were and this is what the confederate’s ideals were”

Not

“We were right about x because blah blah blah” as if they’re picking sides!
