Also, have you noticed they keep stalling the dates in regards to Conor’s “return.” First it was early summer, then late summer, then fall, then end of year; and now 2020.conor’s coach on frankie edgar:
“I think it was in the works when Conor was kind of going on that featherweight tear. He’s an ex-champion, great fighter. Yeah, if it was me, I would love to see the Frankie Edgar fight this year if possible. And then go on another run in 2020.”
thing i don’t like is the “2020” part. i’m starting to worry that he’s slipped through the cracks if they’re talking about 2020.
It’s obvious that he won’t be fighting anytime soon, which is why they keep playing games. They want to keep his name relevant and give the impression that everything is normal behind the scenes. They’re acting as if this sexual assault investigation is nothing more than Conor slapping some girl’s ass at a party.
