Social Facebook is changing

Dana White taking charge of Facebook wasn't in my calling card for 2025.

This is what's so scary about Zuckerberg - He is so fucking easily influenced.

He's like one of those girls who adopts her boyfriend's entire persona every time she dates someone new.
It might be MMA, BJJ, and the Testosterone turning him conservative.

The problem is what people are considering "Disinformation." Some would say listing a scientific fact is disinformation. Like a person's gender is determined by chromosomes. Or a common dust mask is not going to filter out the coronovirus or any virus.

That is the problem. Those that control speech, generally just want to control people.
Just because "some folks would say" accepted science is disinformation doesn't mean that science is actually disinformation. Just because a few folks want to burry their heads the sand doesn't make their position legitimate.

As a society we expect honesty from our lawyers, mechanics, veterinarians but somehow we have come to accept dishonesty from our representatives. Strange AF.

I'm pretty confident that Russian propaganda distributed in this manner had a great deal to do with Trump's win in the election
How much would you weight that factor against the economy or Harris being a bad candidate?

I think the Democrats should have been honest that she was the practical choice in the moment and nothing more. Instead of claiming she was the best candidate or the right one or whatever, they should have been up front about the flatly practical nature of her selection. It's hard to say what difference that would have made considering the fate of incumbents in 2024. But they had no real choice of candidates by that time; she was the only one who made sense. If they don't put her forward as the best candidate they don't have to defend accusations that she's not.

I think "the economy", in this context, means believes Russian propaganda about the economy, so I don't need to weigh it against itself.

You really think that people are influenced by “Russian propaganda” on Facebook more than the price of groceries?

It's a great day for people whose main form of socializing is antagonizing random internet folks
