Oh I agree on Disney being mostly slop recently. But the reasons are far more mundane and boring.

And the reasons for MOST of the flops are pretty simple. The movies aren't good or mediocre at best. Not saying all - I thought Fantastic Four was ok-ish.

But most aren't good. Strip out all the political reasons and media chatter - the movies are simply not good.

And part of the reason for declining quality are these woketards working at Disney that prioritizes the identity of the creatives as opposed to hiring just based on talent.

I didn't say Raya was not good. I literally just told you IDK because I didn't watch, but it wasn't a commercial success.

It's not just Disney. Jon Wick and Mad Max series both spent big money on replacement female leads and lost money BIG TIME. And that's after super successful movies preceding them. I don't think identity politics is doing very well at the movies anymore.

A lot of this Disney stuff was really horribly made besides the character replacements. I mean She-Hulk that gets mad and turns Hulk over chauvinism and mansplaining? Not just poor casting, terrible to shoehorn in that kind of thing; not what people want to see in their entertainment.

I know the origin of woke and respect that, but what it’s become once white progressives got involved, you’d have to be asleep to buy into it.
