Television Everybody loves Raymond vs king of queens

My wife thinks they made carrie dumber and controlling in early seasons. Then smarter and bitchy as later seasons went on.
Thats about the way I see it too. I guess I like them dumber. And hotter. LOL

Another funny one is where Favreau guest stars as Doug's arch-nemesis from middle school.

Sean: I feel terrible. When I saw him lick the trash can, I should have kept it to myself.

Carrie: You mean he really licked it?

Sean: (with complete confidence): Oh yeah, a couple of times.

I find all these 90s/00s sitcoms unbearable. Only sitcom I liked is Seinfeld. Curbed is good too

I remember watching a lot of these shows growing up and never enjoying them. They were all so bad.

The worst one I used to watch was Third Rock From The Sun

Damn that’s a hard one.

both shows fucking sucked and were terrible.

As a new yorker i cant really choose, they were both great.

Are either show on netflix?

Arthur Spooner

Both are great shows, but Arthur puts KoQ over the top. I fear the day Jerry Stiller passes, he is a treasure
After Seinfeld's run ended, Stiller had planned on retiring, but Kevin James asked him to join the cast of The King of Queens. James, who played the leading role of Doug Heffernan, had told Stiller that he needed him in order to have a successful show. Stiller obliged, and played the role of Arthur Spooner, the father of Carrie Heffernan, in the sitcom from 1998 until 2007. Stiller said this role tested his acting ability more than any others have and that, before being a part of The King of Queens, he only saw himself as a "decent actor"

Stiller was great. I liked where him and Spence created and destroyed a whole company in one evening without ever leaving the bedroom.

like both but gun to my head, im goin with king of queens

When one of these show's was airing, I use to get mocked endlessly in school for my similarities to a certain character.

Enjoyed both but I would give the slight edge to King of Queens.

This was a funny scene on a good episode.

Couldnt find clips, but One of my favorite episodes
(Furious Gorge) was him lying about going to overeaters anonymous, but instead going to a domestic violence support group for dudes. Carrie showing up and tearing him a new one.
