Ever drive drunk?

I remember camping with some friends. We were hammered and drove my dads van 10 miles to the nearest gas station to buy cigarettes at midnight. I was sloppy and I remember crossing the centerline and not being able to correct it.

On top of that, we had forgotten our wallets.
 
About 12years ago i had a dd stint.

Went to buy weed blackedout drunk..woke up in my bed next day with weed in my pocket and couldn't remember the drive.
Prolly another dozen times i drove while definitely over the limit...navigated through 2 dwi check points while drunk and also got pulled over with 8 beers in me and an open container and was let go.

What im saying is im incrediby lucky and havnt done it in a decade and never will again.
 
Never.

But when I was younger I was at a party with a friend. We were both drunk af. Never been that drunk in my life. I was too drunk to realize what was going on, so I didn't even try to stop them from driving. Next thing I knew, we were in an accident. Rammed into an empty parked car. Nobody got hurt, but I literally haven't had alcohol ever since.
 
Currently on probation after being made to plead guilty for it. The last 6 months has not been fun. Also mad that Jon Jones basically got the same punishment for me when I didn't hurt anyone and wasn't really all that impaired.

Long story short, though, I really changed my group of friends after that incident, I don't drink anymore, and when I am off probation, I'm going to make sure and Uber that shit
 
I was dumb when I was young but an incident changed my life. Had a GF that was beautiful and rich. Her dad ran a hedgefund. She was my 1st true love and a great girl. One night we are all hanging out in the City bar hopping. Her father sent a car service to pick us up but there was no room for everyone. I let her girlfriends go and took the train with the guys. The Lincoln was hit by a drunk driver and three were killed including my girlfriend. I LOVE drinking, but I always get a ride, call a cab, or take a train. ALWAYS>
 
drinking and driving is great. I know most people don't understand this because they cannot drive worth a fuck even sober. I think I drive better and have a lot more fun driving drunk. Fucking blast the stereo----oh and it has to be late at night without much traffic. I would have to not even be able to walk before I could not drive.
 
yes but it's ok cuz i have a total disregard for life anyways
 
When I was young. I don't do it at all. Not a good idea. If I have 1 beer with dinner I will drive home but I'm but drunk.

My Dad's buddies tell me crazy stories about driving drunk in the 70's

Like his one friend used to park in random driveways, like right in other people's driveways, while blackout drunk and then wake up and have no idea where their car was

Regularly. Not hammered drunk to where I'm impaired, but I regularly drive after 8-10 drinks or so. I've been pulled over twice while sauced up and passed sobriety tests both times. Drinking and driving is a fuzzy issue with a lot of gray area. Some people are too hammered to drive after 2 beers. Takes me an all day bender and damn near a case of beer before I'm a danger to myself or others on the road.

i sadly have. got a dui, paid a ton of money in court fees and fines. never again. that was about ten years ago. i don't even drive anymore. but that's by choice, as i live in an area where i don't need a car.
