I don't think Dricus is that eager for the fight on an ASAP basis. He wisely let it go in order to improve he doesn't mind Strickland or Khamzat going ahead. DDP needs to improve he's stand-up game. Also I believe this fight means more to him then the belt. Going in like that will get him starched. I think he will be ready for it for a year or so. He needs the gap to close between them.

Dricus doesn't need to get punk'ed and used as padding record instrument by Izzy. He is not beating Izzy in an stand-up fight DDP knows this which is why he needs a drastic improvement, He is young and time is on his side

Styles make fights. Izzy is not whittaker besides this is a grudge match. I don't see him rushing himself into this.. Khamzat will fight Izzy if he beats Costa.
