Epic Review: 16 oz Ring to Cage C-17 Version 2!

10 out 10 really for a ring 2 cage glove?.......

I can agree with that. While I don't yet have the C-17.....I do have R2C and I feel they are hands down a great , well made glove. The C-17 being the pinnacle of the line....I don't see why 10 out of 10 is too far fetched. Of course everybody has different opinions. I trust Clamp's reviews on this glove as well as Strats on his customs which received an A+. These are next on my list:)

I love mine and the more I use them the more attached I am. I will most likely buy them in 12 ounces when I get back from Mexico.

I don't understand why you hate ring to cage? You haven't bought any of their products other than hook and loop converters that I remember you saying. The 2.0s have been a far superior budget glove for $99, it's pretty much unbeatable

Compare it to any $99 glove nothing comes remotely close.

Theres more than clamp and my review that rate the gloves highly.

I have no hate for ring to cage, just can't imagine these glove really being a 10/10. Winning is a 10/10. Just an opinion.

But if you never tried the gloves how can you rate on them? Just a question.

A ten out of ten score is relative the factors outlined in the review criteria...Clamp is saying for value, price, and wht you get out of it performancd wise, the c17 is a 10 out of 10 at $99. A winning is a 10/10 for the same reason in the previous categories, relative for the $235 price taf.

Now, on a SCALE of 1-10 in which everlast Pro training glove, ring to cage C17, And Winnings Jesus Preffered model, which a system akin to what you were attempting to refference in your above post, everlast is a 2, R2C C17 is an 8, And Winning JP is a 10.

Or you could say its all a matter of opinion.... But that wouldnt have sounded as nerdy WAKKA WAKKA!

Winning is way more expensive than $235, by the time you tack on the shipping and handling its closer to 300.

Also when you go custom Winnings price goes up about another 100. Ring to cage goes up 30 bucks.

I have a busted thumb and i was able to use these gloves to train. Just to stir the pot more they're a 12/10!

Where does it say that?

I wasn't quoting. I was paraphrasing that based off of Clamps review it is a 10/10 according to the criteria and performance he graded it on.

Yes a Winning is a 10, but that doesn't mean R2C shouldn't be.

You beat me to it bud. Yup that's what I said.

See OP understands. Point made!

Clamp man thanks so much for your advice. I am back to the gym in two weeks due to surgery. I am def getting these in white 16 for sparring.

Hahaha my thumb is healing is this glove and the winnings are all I use. I have them in white 16s also. Best glove hands down. I don't even mess with customs anymore at this point either. Stock all the way.

You mean C17s or White Winnings?

C-17 in whites brotha. The Winnings I have are in red and blue but I sold the blue ones already.

The ONLY thing that will prevent me from getting C17s are if I by some miracle am able to find a pair of Grants in 16oz. They just are so appealing to me. I cant explain it.

Damn I just traded a pair of Grants but my honest opinion is they're not worth it. I still have a pair of 12 oz that I put in my son's room for wall decoration lol. They're not my favorite gloves.

When you say not worth it are ypu reffering to the post I made earlier in this thread about companies charging winning prices for a less than stellar product all because of the logo?

Looks like C17's are still frontrunners. However if you want to get rid of those wall dexorations PM me Clamp I could use a good bag glove.
