Los Angeles of the 1980s has a romantic nostalgia to it. I recently visited overseas to some cities with smog and it just feels more human. It's not the cookie cutter cities full of strip malls with McDonalds and Starbucks and pristinely clean nanny states everywhere. A little bit of imperfection and *gasp* some dirt gives a place some character and humanity.
but wait! here comes a late challenger!

How foolish of me. Those wonderful air quality alerts constantly being at 90 and above. School recess being cancelled due to poor air quality. And who could ever miss the rust stained evergreens up near Big Bear.

You miss breathing in carcinogens? You are a fucking idiot.

50 miles per gallon is unrealistic, Hell my motorcycle doesn’t even get that
is this the moron olympics? almost didnt see you in the opening parade there, welcome.
edit;
UK new cars and light vans had an average of 52 mpg..........................in 2016
the BMW 3 series saloon gives 82mpg, the mercedes A class 80.7 mpg
you had 9 years to catch up, but apparently its "unrealistic"
this is a disaster for US car exports, and European and Japanese cars will take a bigger and bigger market share in the states
maybe musk should stop playing spaceman and produce a car on time and at a competetive price
but hey, at least the oil companies are gettin rich..........
Make
America
Guzzle

It's not the smog or the carcinogens that are good. It's the activities that give them off that are good.

American cities are stale, boring, and just feel dead.

Asian cities in places like South Korea and China are just different. They feel vibrant, young, and just full of energy. They're active at all hours of the day and night, 24/7 and just bustling with an energy that feels like 1920s or 1950s NYC. Sure, they have smog but they also have life. Cities like that are a dime a dozen there and nothing in America, not even NYC/ Chicago/ LA, comes close to giving an "urban lifestyle".

Have tons of emission controls, food safety standards, zoning rules, bar 2 AM closing rules, aggressive policing of drunks, etc.. yeah -- everything is clean, there's no smog, you're never going to get food poisoning, the noise is down at night.....

But you miss out on the restaurants and bars next to residential areas everywhere instead of having cities divided in half, people feeling free to do what they want without fear, cheap street food everywhere, bars and things to do at all hours of the day and night, the invigorating energy of people everywhere on the streets all day and night.

It's a trade off. I prefer to live with the smog, the occasional food poisoning, and other dangers and enjoy the vibrant lifestyle. If I wanted that dead old person stagnant energy and super clean shit, I'd move to the suburbs. American cities are suburbanized husks of their former selves now.

The stench of shit on a warm afternoon as you walk by a side street. Having to stand feet away from someone with rot mouth and cigarettes.

I hear you about Asian cities as a spent a great deal of time in China both in the larger cites and ones Westerners have never heard. I think the major difference between the two is that in Asian cities people literally live on top of one another. Your population density is not comparable to Western cities. So in an average square mile you are going to have thousands and thousands of people so that feeling of energy is completely different. It has 0 to do with regulations and more to do with cost of living and lack of decent transportation.

Basically your weekly roll back of an Obama era policy no matter the harm it may cause the US

Trump is obsessed with the man Obama is

So much work to do after that disaster of Obama.

Trump also had to bring back the citizen status question on consensus forms that Obama ditched.
The gov cannot know if it has illegal citizens in its country? Thanks Obama.

Obama also reinstated catch and release which got hundreds of Americans killed.

Logically that has to go....

Guy loved go disrupt the working class citizens. Almost to the point where he showed hatred for them.
