Basically your weekly roll back of an Obama era policy no matter the harm it may cause the US

Trump is obsessed with the man Obama is

Which means absolutely crap when California has the highest emission standards which have been adopted by numerous states. This honestly was a pointless move as no car company will make a southern only vehicle.

I guess ultimately this is a win for muscle car enthusiasts and retards that think unburnt diesel billowing out the back of their truck exhaust is totally cool. I know this HUGE demographic that has been alienated by Obama era policies.

Gotta quid pro quo that sweetheart rent deal he had with big oil lobbyists.

Trump and Pruitt are coming after California on that as well.

Good luck. I am sure Republicans will be up in arms about the Government trying to infringe on States rights.

CARB is necessary. Anyone that lived in or around Los Angeles in the 80's knows why.

Like i said many times here.

Not only does the entire Republican Party deny climate change they pass legislation that speeds it up.

These people are Fn crazy

During hurricane sandy fuel shortages were prevalent.

There was plenty of gas. But it was not mixed with invigorate a Obama era rule .

People could have gotten fuel much faster, it's just an unnecessary red tape fuel companies have go g through.

Good riddance

Even crazier that fucking oil companies have publicly conceded that climate change is a problem!

So Trump wants to roll back the fleet wide requirements on gas mileage, and states like Cali want to keep the strict limits?

Seems fair enough on a state's rights issue. Fleet vehicles sold in Cali have to pass their own reqs, whereas rest of the nation they can either keep everything tight enough to still pass Cali's or no longer be required to have shitty roller skate, gas sipping cars nobody buys in their lineup so that they can keep selling their big trucks and SUVs

50 miles per gallon is unrealistic, Hell my motorcycle doesn’t even get that

Los Angeles of the 1980s has a romantic nostalgia to it. I recently visited overseas to some cities with smog and it just feels more human. It's not the cookie cutter cities full of strip malls with McDonalds and Starbucks and pristinely clean nanny states everywhere. A little bit of imperfection and *gasp* some dirt gives a place some character and humanity.
