No Spoilers Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree DLC

What am I missing with Rellana? I feel like she’s fairly predictable and can be easily bullied.

I have more trouble with the knight guarding her.

Beat Metyr. Physical attacks were predictable. The AOEs and lasers were a bit funnier and she has an unavoidable laser that sweeps the arena. Awesome.

In the end it wasn't anything Milady couldn't handle, though.
 
The only bosses I've really struggled with in this game were pre nerf Radahn, Malenia and Consort Radahn

You can bully her with with that build? I really like that fight but she poises through everything I've tried.
 
We still posting pics of our characters? This is BigDyykBoi{===3 my pure strength build who did the entire dlc with a heavy infused +25 giant crusher and savage lions claw

Now to go back to my older characters I made back in 2022 to get the rest of them through the DLC, my faith build, bleed build and sorcery build. I have a bit of a competition with my buddies to come up with the stupidest, most immature names for our characters. The first one, Doug Butabi was meant to compliment my buddy’s Steve Butabi character (Night at the Roxbury protagonists). Doug’s on NG++++ the others are on NG+.

Yeah, my frost build up is quick so that breaks her poise then I’m attacking so quickly that her poise break triggers as well.

In my two fights it’s taken me fewer than five attempts combined because I was able to stun her. Once with Great Stars and now with Dryleaf.
 
Not sure I had ever seen the plains at dusk. From consistently has some of the most amazing art direction.

How did you bully her with Great Stars? You can only get off one attack at a time.

I feel like she leaves herself open a lot after she attacks. Even last night I was getting behind her and wailing away. On my first fight I was poising through some of her stuff to get a couple of hits in and then with some Lion’s Claw she was definitely getting stunned and bled to death.

Shit I forgot to try that ash of war. She's definitely hittable but she has a few attacks I still can't roll properly, like her quick uppercuts and her long combo where she does a few vertical ellipses and then switches direction and goes horizontal. This thing

I really like the fight but yeah, some of those combos are just rough to deal with. I think my super aggressive style works well for some bosses and screws me in others.

I ideally want to get this character some more equip load and poise. I’m so soft right now so I get interrupted a lot but it would be amazing to poise through my attacks.
 
using the day 1 dlc build and specced into bloodfiends arm

lmfao this thing is absolutely filthy and is just deleting everything. i can see why they nerfed it.
 
perhaps the best feature of the dlc patch that nobody is talking about



no more running marathons or calling ubers just to arrive within the elden beasts proximity. and you can use torrent to avoid many of the elden beasts attacks and get a bunch of licks in.

Can you outrun elden stars with torrent?
 
My guy has gone weird martial arts druid recently,

He still uses Milady Sword but has the Dryleaf arts equipped to the other hand. Because he uses the Milady sword one handed he can uses the basic martial arts combo as well and he switches easily to full Dryleaf Arts with one input due to using the sword with one hand rather than two.
