Huh? Show the video where Eddie looks good. I just checked out some PEB shared the other night, and Rogan is right: Eddie looks awful.
About this fight, again, Thor looks really, really good for someone with as little experience as he has in that fight. He lets his elbows flare too often, needs to keep them tighter, but he does a great job of keeping his hands up, even not too badly in the 2nd round when he gets tired, and he does a good job of bringing them back to his head after throwing. He is charging a bit too recklessly, but he isn't overextending his feet, and he's shifting beautifully to adjust when his opponent strafes away at the end of his charge.
His balance is good. He is good at gauging range. He maintains his posture well when he's moving backwards, and he keeps his feet pretty light.
He's breathing well, and he's not too tense. When he paws with his jab, he's not being stupid about it. He's blinding his opponent, finding his range, but he doesn't leave it out too long, or after getting too close to his opponent, and brings it back to his head. Even when he wings those hooks, he usually does a good job of only throwing one at a time so that he always has one hand defensively somewhere close to his head.
When he gets close, he doesn't fight stupid, and start trying to blast the guy because he's in range. He hugs, and waits for the break so that he can fight again at range with his superior reach. That's important because it shows that he isn't letting his opponent's elusiveness frustrate him. Despite failing to land much when he comes forward early, he stays true to the plan. That shows discipline.
That's impressive because most amateurs in their first fight, like Bas points out, go crazy. Their adrenaline gets the better of them, completely.
Until I see something where Eddie doesn't look like a hulk wound tighter than a witch with her own broom up her ass, my money is on Thor.
