I feel like Dana and co. have different intentions when they sign fighters. Some are propped up to head toward the main event, others are destined for curtain jerkers and prelims as cannon fodder. That's why a fighter who is less than impressive can still potentially get signed.

As a Canadian I'm legally obligated to root for Radley Da Silva, but Mangos seems like a very complete fighter for his age.

Plus mangos are delicious.

I think the high sign rate has more to do that Contender guys are willing to take the cheapest contracts available so are willing to be cheap fodder
